The hotel looked quite old, but it's well maintained. There were 2 types of room: Japanese and Western. We stayed in Japanese rooms, where beds (futons) were made in the evening before bedtime. During which, the table and chairs would be pushed aside. Bathroom, toilet and sink were all in different places, small but clean and functional, except for the... More

Though not the most expensive in the area, this hotel is the priciest I've stayed in Japan. I would say it's because of the location which is right across Kawaguchiko lake, overlooking Mount Fuji. I didn't get to see Mount Fuji though since it was rainy and cloudy. It was disappointing yet expected. Our room was right across the lone... More

I stayed at this hotel in a Japanese-style room for one night with my girlfriend. The staffs were very nice and helpful. They offered to pick us up at the train station even before the check-in time started. The staffs could communicate and understood your requirements despite their limited English. There was a wifi in the room free of charge.... More

I stayed in January. You could see Fuji Mountain from your bed. Food was also delicious. Nice onzen and All staffs are very good service and friendly. I would recommend this hotel and will come back again :)

It was a great experience to have dinner in our room. The food was on different small beautiful plates and bowls. We had sushi, sashimi, tofu and hot pot, etc. The hotel had a flexible policy about the breakfast. We could go out in the morning and come back to have the “breakfast” at lunchtime. The food was delicious. Free... More

We are a group of 6, 3 are elders and stayed for 2 nights in Japanese rooms. Most of the staffs do not speak English but they are so attentive and willing to help all the time. Our room has a balcony with the lake and Fuji-San view which is a plus. I only had a chance to try their... More

The hotel is pretty tired looking as compared to the neighbouring other hotels. It is also looking less attrative compared to the one 2 door away. But however, the service is reallygood. They make us feel really like home and they are willing to help you with any requests. No doubt the price is steep, i believe the neighbouring ones... More

Nice view, friendly staff, they have an onsen onsite which is very convenient for an early swim or to warm up before the sleep. It is quite away from the train station, so during the night you need to take a taxi or walk for 20min.

We had a great view for the lake and mount fuji. It was our first time in a japanese style hotel and we really enjoyed the whole thing: tatami, futon, onsen, japanese breakfest... The real highlight was the service though. On our depature, the hotel shuttle was suposed to leave at 11h30 to the station. But at 11h00 we realized... More

Fuji-san is a lady and that lady is shy. Thus said the manager when we checked out. We were here for two nights, had a lovely tatami room with what should have been a perfect view of the mountain, yet it was enveloped in with clouds, and gloom, and fog, and rain. We saw no mountain the whole time. Soon... More
