It was a great experience to have dinner in our room. The food was on different small beautiful plates and bowls. We had sushi, sashimi, tofu and hot pot, etc. The hotel had a flexible policy about the breakfast. We could go out in the morning and come back to have the “breakfast” at lunchtime. The food was delicious. Free... More

We are a group of 6, 3 are elders and stayed for 2 nights in Japanese rooms. Most of the staffs do not speak English but they are so attentive and willing to help all the time. Our room has a balcony with the lake and Fuji-San view which is a plus. I only had a chance to try their... More

The hotel is pretty tired looking as compared to the neighbouring other hotels. It is also looking less attrative compared to the one 2 door away. But however, the service is reallygood. They make us feel really like home and they are willing to help you with any requests. No doubt the price is steep, i believe the neighbouring ones... More

Nice view, friendly staff, they have an onsen onsite which is very convenient for an early swim or to warm up before the sleep. It is quite away from the train station, so during the night you need to take a taxi or walk for 20min.

We had a great view for the lake and mount fuji. It was our first time in a japanese style hotel and we really enjoyed the whole thing: tatami, futon, onsen, japanese breakfest... The real highlight was the service though. On our depature, the hotel shuttle was suposed to leave at 11h30 to the station. But at 11h00 we realized... More

Fuji-san is a lady and that lady is shy. Thus said the manager when we checked out. We were here for two nights, had a lovely tatami room with what should have been a perfect view of the mountain, yet it was enveloped in with clouds, and gloom, and fog, and rain. We saw no mountain the whole time. Soon... More

The Japanese room is spacious and pleasant. They help prepare the bed for you when you're out for dinner. Waking up to see perfect view of Mt.Fuji is really impressive experience of staying at this hotel. In addition, you can have a peaceful walk along the lake whenever you want. Great dinner and breakfast, each set comes in very nice... More

An experience once in a lifetime - we loved it. The room was very cosy and traditional. The view to Mount Fuji was terrific - even if we couldn't see it all the time. We didn't have food in our room. The beds on the tatami were more convenient than we thought. I slept quite well there, my husband needed... More

We used this hotel to recover after our climb of Mt Fuji. It proved perfect. Great to wake up with a view from the room to Mt Fuji across the beautiful lake. Excellent service, great food - we booked the special menu option, which was very good, and they were diligent in asking for our choices before we traveled. Started... More
