Stayed here as a bit of R&R from our international flight. Came straight from Narita Airport to this hotel on the train and caught a taxi to the hotel, it was around ¥1500. The staff were exceedingly helpful and polite - nothing was too much trouble. The room itself was incredible. The best views I've ever seen from a hotel... More

We loved our stay at the atmospheric Mizuno Hotel overlooking the beautiful lake. The view from our room of Fuji-San was magnificent. Our room was traditional Japanese style with futon beds which we loved and it was very clean. The hotel recommended lots of great restaurants that were only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The scenic cable car... More

Quite disappointed with the hotel, even though my expectation for a hotel is pretty low. Toilet is way too small. Having rented a car, the path up to the hotel is pretty steep and narrow, (parts of the route, is only enough for a single car to pass), not to mention if you are not driving. Booked the hotel, with... More

We stayed for 2 nights. It was a good new experience with Ryokan style, had a good sleep in futon and very lucky for 2nd day to see super clear Mt.Fuji view by the balcony. Also staffs are helpful and kindly service. We arrived before the check-in time but with their kindness , we were allowed to check-in early (Thank... More

Let me tell you, I was so excited to spend a night in a ryokan. It was unfortunate due to the misty weather we had no view of Mt.Fuji. If there was a clear sky it would've been right in front of us with our private balcony. We had arrived early so we decided to go to see the Monkey... More

To begin with the view is great, but that is the only good feature of the hotel and you can get that in a lot of other hotels. The entire area and city seems like it was build in the 80's and since then nothing have happened. I would advise to watch Mt Fuji from the east or south side... More

The rooms with balconies have great views of Fuji, if the weather is clear. You can also use the hotel bikes to bike round the Lakes. The hotel offers a shuttle bus from the station at set hours of the day. This is useful as it's 2km walk from the station but you can take a cab too. Our twin... More
