We reserved triple sharing Japanese bedroom via Booking.com. Therefore, reservation was easy. I followed up with direct email to the hotel requesting for more information about accessibility and whether they could assist to make rental car reservation for us. The response was fairly quick with good English. Unfortunately they couldn't assist with car rental. That was a bit disappointing since... More

Ok - there is this spectacular view on Mt Fuji on a clear day and friendly staff in the restaurant. However that's it! It is one of the worst hotels we ever stayed for the following reasons: 1. At check-in we received a long list of common sense "DO NOT..." - well, we know to behave 2. No assistance for... More

Firstly the view from this hotel: Oh my God! Unbelievable. This is probably the strangest hotel I've ever stayed at, with its various poky living areas full of art work, books and eclectic furniture. We stayed in a Japanese style room and it was fantastic. Would really recommend this to anyone happy to sit and sleep on the floor. Otherwise... More

The Mizuno hotel is reminiscent of a grand hotel from yesteryear. The moment you walk in the door you feel like you've inadvertently stepped foot in a hoarder's basement. The hundreds of pictures on all of the walls, which followed no discernible theme, were good to pass the time as you wandered to the trippy lift. The room was similarly... More

Ok I will start with the cons as there are not many but my review shall not be biased. The shower was small and an older style and the hill to the hotel a hike for some. But this place makes up for it in service, location, view and character. This is the best place i have stayed. Not the... More

Wonderful views over lake to Fuji, hotel has lovely facilities, wifi, Japanese and Western style bedrooms, free TV and short walk into town. But best of all is going to sleep with Fuji in your window and waking up to it lit by dawn.

I went there with my niece for 2 nights in mid May. We were in awe to see the full view of Fujisan right in front of us from our room. We booked the western style room, the room was big and right for the price. The perfect 2 nights to view the Fujisan. We had breakfast at the hotel... More

My friend and I stayed at Mizuno hotel for two nights during the last week of august 2014. We picked this hotel as it gives easy access to the bus that takes you to the 5th station of Mount Fuji which is the start of the climb to the top. The hotel overlooks the lake Kawaguchi and offers a nice... More

This is our 2nd time staying at Mizuno hotel (first time was in July 2013). Kawaguchiko is a great area for getting away from the overcrowded city and to get some fresh breeze. The hotel itself is classic and famous for its spectacular view from every room with balcony. Despite the price which sometime costly, our stay was pleasant. Staffs... More
