This hotel offer you a traditional japanese room with tatami and futon. They offer a hot spring too (or they called Onsen in Japan ; sorry if I mistaken). But the hot spring it's not too clean. Well, I'm not quite sure what it is, it's such a pollen or anything else, but when I'm there, there's a dead bug... More

The view from the hotel is outstanding and there is good shuttle service, these are the only things good about this place. It looks, feels and smells old! Everything is used and dirty, we had the most expensive breakfast in whole Asia ever.

The hotel is a quiet and serene place to have a great peaceful trip to Fujikawaguchiko. Pretty centrally located while visiting the various tourist sites around Kawaguchiko and Saiko. My family stayed in the Japanese styled room sleeping on the sleeping mat on tatami. It was a first experience for the family and we utterly enjoyed that. The staff are... More

I have stayed at many hotels worldwide and all thanks to Trip Advisor, I've stayed at many nice hotels too.. But.. This is one hotel that failed to live up to my expectations.. And although I had many many happy memories of my visit to Lake Kawaguchkio, I unfortunately cannot rank my stay at Mizuno amongst one of them.. However... More

So the reviews you read here that basically all note the quirkiness of this hotel are not wrong, but I'd like to add that I think its quirkiness is what makes this a great hotel to stay at in this area. Fujikawaguchiko reminds me of Kinugawa Onsen where we stayed a week or so ago, they are both places where... More

We rented a tatami room and slept on the futon mattress on the floor. The room has 2 balconies, one internal with French doors, and outside the French doors is an external balcony. Mt Fuji view is right outside our hotel room balcony and is clearly visible when she decides not to hide behind the clouds. Lake Kawaguchiko view is... More

Convenient: Kawaguchiko is quite spread out, but this hotel offers a shuttlebus to and from the station. There is also free bicycle rental, which is a fun activity in itself. Great staff: the staff here really went the extra mile for sum it was much appreciated. They are warm and friendly. Curated: jazz music in the bar, lobby and shuttle... More

This is a small hotel with an excellent location and the view on Mt. Fuji. The rooms are simple with the traditional tatami on the floor and a balcony. There is a traditional uforo in the hotel where you can stay in a hot bath with a private view on Mt. Fuji.

My GF and I did not know too much what to expect when we arrived at this place. Well, make no mistake, this is a great hotel with amazing view, delicious food, fantastic jacuzzi and spacious room with terrace. Yes it is a little bit quirky and we loved it for this. Great stay!

I have wonderful experience here. The window view is super!!! And it provides pick up service from Kawaguchiko Station, and shuttle buses in the morning. To rent the bike is free of charge and no time limit! I really enjoy the cozy room, and the bath(hot spring) area with view. And the bus stop is not far. but there are... More
