I gave a KUKUNA stay as a Honeymoon present to the couple of my friends. They have English instructions as well as English speaking staff, so my fiends had no trouble staying at this hotel. And from the guest house window and from the penthouse spa you can have a breathtaking Mt.Fuji view, which made your stay unforgettable. And... More

We stayed here in a room with bath tub in the balcony, with stunning view of Mt. Fuji and the lake. The room is well equipped and decorated with a modern touch. Staffs are friendly and professional, and some of them can speak good English. There are different options for dinner and we picked the one with a gourmet course... More

There is free shuttle from and to Kawaguchiko JR Station. And there is a public phone where you can use to call the hotel from the JR Station. The hotel is great, the room is amazing, you can see the beautiful Lake Kawaguchi from the room, and if the weather permit, you can see the beautiful amazing Mt Fuji. The... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Though a little pricey it was worth it. The service was exceptional. Even though the staff don't speak English they did all they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The view from our room was breath taking with Mt Fuji and the lake. And we loved the onsen on the top floor.... More

We spent three nights here and loved every minute of it. Yes checkin is a bit difficult as no one seems to speak much English but you soon work it out and know what's going on. The hotel is right on the lake with all rooms and the restaurant having superb views of Mt Fuji. The hotel is 5 minutes... More

We stayed here after our climb after Mt Fuji. About 10 mins from the bus that takes you to Mt Fuji 5th Station. Friendly staff, very helpful after my wife injured her toe . Execellant rooms with great view of Mt Fuji over the lake across the road. Great view from outside onsen tub of Mt Fuji. Excellent teppanyaki dinner... More

We used our two night stay at Kukuna as a bit of a recuperation break after touring the south but before we hit the craziness of Tokyo. On our arrival we were greeted by one of Kukuna's most friendliest, cheeriest and possibly the best English speaking staff member, so we were off to a good start. We booked the Japanese... More

It is a very nice hotel. The location is located in one of the best spot to see Mt. Fuji. Stay at ryokan with a good view to the lake and Mt. Fuji was a very interesting experience. Enjoying onzen which also has a good view to Mt Fuji was also a great moment.

I stayed here one night during my trip to Japan last year. We had a room with a spa on the balcony and a view of the lake and Mt Fuji (which we could not see when we arrived) We also had dinner and breakfast included. Neither my partner or I speak any Japanese and it wasn't an issue, the... More
