We stayed at The Black Swann and I have to say they tick all the boxes! Spacious room, clean and comfortable. The restaurant needs a special mention as the food is absolutely awesome! I can recommend this guesthouse to anyone

What a gem. I travel to Queenstown every month for the last 3 years and have tried a few B&B's and Black Swan is truly a step above the rest. This is home away from home as friend hospitality is concerned. The rooms are trendy and very clean with subtle touches of elegance and quality. The food is magnificent so... More

My husband and I spent one night at The Black Swann on a business/leisure trip. The supper was beautifully prepared (perfect medium rare steaks) and served by a lovely friendly lady. The accommodation was excellent. Beautiful, crisp, white, clean linen. Furnishings in the room are very tasteful and functional. Great desk for doing that evening work! The room and bathroom... My husband and I stayed at The Black Swann for 3 days while visiting family in the area and we couldn't have been more pleased. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean with a very comfortable bed and a large shower. We received a warm welcome from the management and were served an excellent breakfast in the morning. The B&B... More

We arrived without booking and we had a warm welcome. Our room was very good and we found it very well priced. Our host went out of her way to assist us. Safe parking. Did not have breakfast as they don't serve breakfast Sundays.

Very disappointed - not at all according to previous reviews. We were a group that booked 6 rooms, called at 18:00 to inform that we will be arriving at 19:30 but were informed kitchen close at 7pm and they will place the dinner in the room. How bad this was, I could not eat the food as it contained grain,... More

I have stayed over at the Black Swann on many occasions and have never been disappointed by the great atmosphere of the place. The rooms are really comfortable and super clean with excellent room service. The Braai area and swimming pool are a great relaxing experience in summer, with the outdoor T.V for one's convenience. The restaurant serves great meals... More

My wife and I travelled through the Eastern Cape recently where we decided to stay over in Queenstown. The first B&B I have looked up on the net came up as The Black Swan, which I took as the 1st best option as I was not in the mood to look around. I must say, the best place ever I... More

I really enjoyed my stay in this B&B which is undergoing a makeover. The restaurant was closed for renovation (the main reason I had booked there as we ate the best steaks for many years there last year). But the service is excellent and the rooms were super-clean. Roy suggested I try the new restaurant "The Gallery" and I was... More

We were only there for one night, and looking for a stopover in Queenstown. The rooms were clean, and well equipped. It was well located in Queenstown, close to the heart of the city, the local restaurants. The manager, Brendan, was very helpful on arrival and recommended a few eating joints, particularly Dagwood Roadhouse (dirty, pub grub), which was awesome... More
