All the reviews were absolutely true and even exceeded our expectations. This was certainly the highlight of our trip to Turkey. The town itself is incredibly peaceful and gives great insight into what a remote, ancient, Turkish town is really like. I wouldn't have been happier in another part of Cappadocia. The other towns were a little touristy for our... More

This delightful 3room family hotel was perfect for our recent family holiday in beautiful cappadocia. The rooms were lovley and the food the best we have experienced anywhere in the world. Okan went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as he could, a truly delightful experience.

This charming bed and breakfast with three guest rooms has absolutely everything you would want – beautiful guest rooms (with a marble bathroom), a fine courtyard with the best view in this little town, the best breakfast we ate in Turkey, dinner to die for made by the proprietor’s mother, and a proprietor who could not be more eager to... My sister and I first decided to stay at Aravan Evi because we had an extra day to spare as the tours to Mt Nemrut only operated on Thursdays and Saturdays. Thanks to Okan, we had a day filled with village sightseeing that was so enjoyable, we wished we had stayed longer! I was already missing the place at dinner... More

In a tiny village in the midst of the fairy wonderland that is Cappadocia, the Yazgan family have restored an small family home to perfection. There is a 1st floor patio with a wonderful view [when the moon is full before you, it's stupendous!]. Please have your meals there too- Okan's mother is a great cook.- sometimes she cooks over a... More

Okan, and his beautiful, humble family are doing wonders for tourism in the Cappadocia area. We spent 4 nights with them in the village of Ayvali in June. Okan's vast knowledge of the area, including planned day trips to places we would never have known about, his appreciation of the great local wines and speciality craft industries, together with his... We stayed in Aravann Evi in May 2014. We strongly recommend the hotel without any hesitations. We were very worried since the flight was delayed for very long time in Istanbul, and it was after midnight. To our relief, Okan was there waiting for us patiently. The ride from the airport to the hotel was fantastic. There were hardly any... More

Okan and his parents, Yusef and Nurhoyat are very special people indeed. We stayed with this family for four nights in the village of Ayvali, just 10 minutes out of Urgup, Cappadocia. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was beyond belief not to mention Nurhoyat's four course dinners at night at a very reasonable price. Why would one eat... More

Lookiing for a non-rushed stay in Cappadocia we were drawn to Aravan Evi by the location, their web site and the reviews. The village location combined with the wonderful Yazgan family and their friendly service and amazing food was a superb refuge for our 6 night stay. Okan provided great assistance in planning our site seeing, do not miss his... More

We stayed in this "hotel" for two nights, early May 2014. The name "hotel' does not describe the place correctly, it is more of a guesthouse, where the family welcomes you to their home. I believe they only have three rooms. I made the reservations based on tripadvisor reviews and they were right to the point. From the moment we... More
