The hotel is pure luxury and history in every part of it. I felt like being in museum. Furniture and decorations are authentic and of high quality. Food in hotel restaurant is delicious. You can also have private wine tasting. Stay here and be treated such as a member of royal family.

According to their page this hotel won award as the most romantic historic hotel in Europe and from my point of view this might be well earned title. There are multiple spacious saloons beautifully decorated to style you can see only on excursions of old castles. Difference is here you can sit in all those big chairs, read old book... More

Coming to hotel seems a bit like a photos from Toscany in Italy, wineyards, hills and silence out of a city lights. Very large area of hotel gives any couple privacy enough to spend romantic trip in this truly historical monument, the chateau where the rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Outside you can walk a forest, lawns where... More

Although located in an area with not many attractions is worth a visit for a couple of days. The Hotel itself is the attraction in that rural area. Not necessary renovated in true Historical sense, eg. windows, is a perfect place for lovers of baroque time. Very good rooms and all the functional areas offer the amenities people looks for.... Being renovated almost from the scratch in less than 10 years ago, this place will offer you incredible calmness and peace. You will find plenty of good wines, offered by the private winery there, one of those in the world top 100. Every wine is served in accordance with a meal, on other hand food is top class, applause for... More

We spent one night in this castle and we were very satisfied with services. The waiter Tomas was excellent, very kind and helpful. The food was great. The area of the castle is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. We really recommend you to go there. We hope we will visit this place again.

Beautifully restored and renovated chateau pretty much in the middle of nowhere but easily accessible from Budapest The train from Budapest to Sturovo takes about 1hr 20 and then a 8 km taxi ride. On the return there was a problem with the train line and we took a taxi all the way to Budapest for 40 euros. The village... More

enjoyed a 4 day stay in November. Room was large and lovely with nice bath/shower. A little disappointed with the food as we wanted to try more local, traditional dishes and the hotel restaurant specializes in more gourmet cuisine. For a wonderful local tour guide ask the hotel for Maria, free-lance guide who speaks fluent English, can give great history... More

First, I would like to apologise, that I could not choose a correct date of my experience. I did not get a time to sit and to write the review earlier. So actually, I spent in this hotel 1 night in August 2013. We, me and my baby, were guests at a wedding of my good friends. The hotel was... More
