Last minute meant we paid nearly 250e for 2 for dinner bed and breakfast - peak time end july. If we'd paid half that the review would have been more positive. Nice setting, nice layout, rooms ok -though how in this day and age you can not provide a fridge at this price level i don't know, and coffee making facility also sadly... More

The setting is great, in the Loire. The accommodation pods are cool (although if you faced the wrong way or didn't like your floor, it might not be so great). The waterway feature from main hotel area to accommodation is lovely, filled with big fish and ducks for children and adults to admire each crossing. The nearby zoo really is... More

We nearly booked a Gite / BnB down the road from the Zoo, but thankfully we didn't, and ended up staying here, about 150m from the (excellent) Zoo entrance. The level of service and price-bracket is - I would say - just right. The hotel rooms, and grounds are really nicely designed, the 'Asiatique' style is done pretty well (I... More

Really good place to stay, 15 min walk from the zoo. REALLY good bed, most of the time i have a hard time to sleep in hotel because of the bed, but i slept like a baby. Everybody in the hotel were nice and helpful with us. The buffet was pretty good too, just a bad notes on the wine... More

This was a welcome treat after 10 days of camping. The interior is stunning. Our room was lovely and clean, beds were comfortable, and rooms have air conditioning. We booked this as a stopover, but really we could have done 2 nights here so that we could have gone to the zoo. We were the only English, so I wonder... More

We stayed just the one night after a day visiting the wonderful Zoo and gardens. We took the Club Half Board dela which was 208 Euros for half board for 2 adults excluding zoo entrance. The hotel is designed to be Indonesian/Balinese in style (which it nearly achieves) and has a gift shop sellling Balinese craftware at what seemed very... More

If you visit the Zooparc Beauval you really should stay at this hotel! The ambience, the location and the accommodation are all excellent! Stay on one of the packages and half-board accommodation together with zoo access can all be purchased together. The food, for those on half-board, is from a constantly refreshed and daily changing buffet. Wine prices are affordable... More

Recommended by a French friend. We stayed a week and were the only Brits here. The rooms are in 'Pavillions' of around 20 rooms centred around a heated outdoor pool and surrounded by small lakes full of ducks and koi carp. The rooms are comfortable and are so well sound proofed that you don't hear your neighbours. A very child... More

Very much liked this hotel - stayed in family room with 2 11 year olds. Good facilities and pleasant ambience. Food very good only let down by charges for over 10s same as adults - seems a low age to apply full costs at €28 a head. Access to zoo very easy and zoo is fabulous.

A very good hotel. Staff were polite and friendly, check in and out were very quick. We arrived around 11.30-12.00, and since the check in was at 16.00, we were given the passes to the Zoo to pass time there. Visiting the Zoo Beauval was a great bonus! We got passes for the whole duration of our stay (3 days).... More
