Sitla Estate will lure you back again & again. We've just returned after a 3-night stay & are already wondering how soon we can go back. The new rooms are well-appointed & have great views of the mountains. For those who have no problem negotiating a steep flight of steps & slope, these rooms are ideal. The fruit trees, woods... If like me, your experience of the mountains has been limited to prominent commercial hill stations, this place is a must visit. Apart from the great location and views, Sitla Estate's new suite of rooms boast modern amenities and charming ambience. Many of us would acknowledge the fact that we usually refer to quality time with family as watching TV... More

We (read as 3 girls) decided to do a short trip to the hills over the Easter weekend! Two of us flew in from Chennai and Mumbai and the third friend was from Delhi itself.. after a lot of research and reading reviews we decided to stay at the Sitla Estate, Mukteshwar.. I must say it was a long journey... More

most reviews I read I can't agree with them more about what an excellent place sitla estate is. It's not for the loud tourist who wants to walk on Mall Road and do some shopping and eat chaat papri. This is a gem for someone who wants to just relax and hang loose. Even If you are the adventurous types... More

We read about Sitla a long time ago and was always planning to come here but somehow it never happened. But it was definitely worth the wait. It has been one of the most memorable holidays we have had. We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed in the standard double room which was in the old wing of the... More

The trouble is, most of us plan a vacation like ordering coffee. From a wealth of untried options, we pick something by rote, because we can control it. If you read up many more of the reviews for Sitla Estate, you'll find that the dividing line is between those who simply experienced, and those who expected to find a mirror... More

You can see the Himalayas. The air is fresh as hell. The place is cool (weather wise) and clean. You can go for a nice fun treck which we did. And you are bound to meet other like minded people. Vikram also makes the place for homey due to his involvement. Book your stay and huge for yourself! Its worth... More

Perfect getaway from the hot plains of Delhi. The slow drive through the village of Nathuakhan just before you reach the estate sets the tone for this break. The estate is beautiful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The view is awesome, whether in winter or before the monsoons – the clouds rolling in over the blue mountains is... More

A lovely place to relax unwind and enjoy nature. Unfortunately Vikram Maira wasn't there when we visited but Tsering and all the members of staff took fabulous care of us. The food was fantastic, they even took care to accommodate my wheat intolerance to the best of their abilities! Sitla Estate has wifi for those in need of connectivity, luckily... More
