The High and medium valued rooms are the best which faces the Mountains. Ffod cost included in the fare. The lowest rate rooms are at the Ground level and doesn't offer any view. Great ambiance for a 2 nights stay. No electricity after 9pm and hence a great night life experience with candles and torch lights.Excellent Dinner and breakfast items with... More

Typical government place - awesome location. Infrastructure which mush have been good once. Now in a sad state of service and maintenance. They have two categories of rooms - some newer rooms are better than the older lot. The food was okay - not bad but no great. We did a night halt en route to Munsiyari. It is fine... More

Kmvn binsar has a comparison with no other hotel but with other KMVN 's properties located in Kumaon region. no doubt its comparatively well maintained with good food. its approx 9 km inside the sanctuary ..walk to the zero point starts from Kmvn's gate, carry your own water and munchies as nothing available on way to zero point ..no other food... Going to Binsar is not the cards of many so was true with us too. Relatively unheard, is said to be 10 kms inside the forest gate, no electricity, nothing except a KMVN resort...so unless someone recommends it was not to be known to us too... But as life does it did to us this time too by making this... More

KMVN resorts have the bestest of locations, but then it is uphill Pros - vantage location with best panoramic views of the Kumaon Himalayas from the roof - best views of the sunrise Cons - poorly furnished rooms, with slack room service - food quality is basic - no electricity post evening hours

we had no booking but while visiting to binsar wildlife sanctuary we approached the stuffs and they were quit happy to provide us a room. the ultimate part of this resort is that it is inside the sanctuary and you can see the sunrise from this hotel itself. its a secluded property with no electricity and with almost non existent... As most of the reviews mention, this place has no electricity, no frills and in the middle of the jungle. So if you are looking for a lot of adventure and happening place then this may not be for you. But if you are looking to get some peace and quite from your everyday life and hustle and bustle of... This place is ideal if you're looking to be in a place without the trappings of modern comforts, including electricity. Slightly old of construction but rooms are cosy and rugged and this happens to be one of the few choices to stay inside the sanctuary. There's no electricity except between 7-9 pm when dinner is served so forget about watching... More

Stayed here in 2014, Location wise this is the best and from price point of view cheapest available in this location(Sanctuary). you can go for a walk down the terrace or just enjoy view of Himalayan range from the terrace. Service is something you can't rely on. Also because this place is located in sanctuary they do not have power... More
