We were a group of friends, normally having our annual get together doing Diwali time. This year, we booked the Resort much in advance as our room bookings were for almost 16 families. We had booked for the weekend prior to Diwali, The initial interaction with the resort sales group were very friendly and there were no hastles in booking.... More

Very well built but maintenance is ordinary.Rooms are descent.Though there were only 3 rooms occupied but the swimming pool was filled always which just shows people from outside use this pool :/.There was a limit for complimentary breakfast(Juices). The receptionalist was not very kind.Cycles were given free of cost and the resort is well connected with use of buggies.

I will not be back. The hotel is on 30 acres and they use it all. My room like all rooms was at the furthest point from reception at least 12 minute walk to reception in 36 degrees, no thanks. Golf carts are available but who wants to get a buggy to go to reception. Many might like the space... More

My stay was beyond my expectation. I was skeptical initially when i booked my stay based on the photos. But, the resort turned out to be very pleasant and atmosphere - really calm and nice. It was fun and my family had a great time. Food was good and service was fine. The amenities was really nice for family and... More

Mid July 2014, being invited by my friend to attend a Training-cum-Recreational residential programme for young entrepreneurs, I went with a open mind about the Speaker and place of stay. Both the Speaker and the Resort was worth it. 2 hrs from the Chennai City near Mahabalipuram , located amidst Mango grove is Esthell Village Resort. Vast open space, spacious... More

Some of the amenities and facilities at the resort are very good, but there are management issues that if resolved would make it an excellent place to stay. Pros: The pool, spa and such are very good as is the maintenance of the grounds, lobby and conference rooms. The staff is earnest, pleasant and tries hard to satisfy. Cons: RoomVenetian... More

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Esthell resort. If driving down from Chennai, take the ECR, turn right after Great Lakes institute, pass through the atomic energy quarters, turn right again and drive 3 km to reach the resort. We had two rooms for one night. The rooms are spaced out four to a building set amid... More

Heard about this property from some friends. So tried it for just 1 night, as a precursor for a longer stay and bigger group at a later date. Spread over 35 acres, the resort has well developed farm with lots of mango, lemon, coconut trees. Well laid out lawns with Tar-topped roads, ideal for long walks and cycle rides. Kids... More

The least that is expected from a hotel is running water, electricity & good food. Esthell beats all of that. 1. They serve non-veg food for free! Corn flakes we had ordered had a small cockroach in it. 2. It is a blessing if you get water in your attached bathroom. Even if you get water, you are lucky if... More
