Chiminda is a fantastic mid-range hotel with nice spacious rooms and pleasant decor. We were put up on the 2nd floor and went 'wow' when we saw the splendid Kangchenjunga ranges from our balcony. The hotel staff is very kind and courteous; and the room service is good. The only hicup was that they dint have enough hot water bags... More

Stayed with family at Chiminda for 2 nights on our way to Ravangla from Kaluk. The hotel room was ill kept and the bed stinks of sweat. They need to change the sheets ! food was better than my other bad experience at Melting Point restaurant. However, breakfast to be avoided as nothing is available from the menu. overall a... More

The rooms are big enough, but not cosy. Due to the close proximity to the Kanchenjunga, it is very cold all throughout. The staff is very courteous and helped us plan our Pelling trips. The restaurant food is delicious & their service is quick. The view of the Kanchenjunga from rooms 301 & 302 is fabulous and best.

I stayed at hotel Chiminda International in Pelling in December and my experience was really great. Thought the hotel looks small from outside, it is extremely comfortable and cozy inside. Well maintained rooms and prompt room service. Food was amazing and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. View of Kangchenjunga from the window was breathtaking. It is the closest hotel... More

After visiting and looking at 4-5 hotels, we finally decided to stay at Chiminda. We stayed there for 2 nights (17-18 Mar'12). Overall experience & service was good. Pelling is divided in 3 parts. Upper, middle & lower Pelling. Chiminda is in middle Pelling from where it was easy to walk across upper and lower Pelling. Morning view of snow... More

I have read very good reviews of this hotel and have choosen this above all other hotel choices in pelling. I was hoping for a good family vacation. It was a terrible experience overall. The hotel is terribly managed, the walkways are dirtiest. One can see from the open windoes the bedsheets and pillows thrown into a horrible dirty room... More

Pelling is a small town with limited facilities if you view it as a tourist place. With this backdrop, I would really like to congratulate Chiminda staff for their good management of the hotel. Rooms are specious, clean. We liked the food and hospitality of the staff. Overall a nice experience at Chiminda and Pelling!
