Once I started planning my first trip to India I came across this hotel and I knew I had to stay here! Stunning property, incredible suite and extremely friendly staff! If you want to unwind from all the chaos this is the place! Very peaceful, incredible infinity pool, great restaurant! Beautiful details throughout the palace - all the paintings, antiques...... Alhtough this hotel is about 45-minutes outside of Jaipur, the drive is well worth it. After the hustle and bustle of Jaipur, it was wonderful to come back to the quiet and calm of the Samode Palace. And while this is a working 16th Century palace, the rooms were a combination of old world decor and modern amenities. The food... More

We were in Rajasthan for a month trip and we stayed at many luxury resorts and one of them was Samode palace. This is an excellent place for travelers like my who wants to stay in hotels which are not just luxurious but close to nature and Samode palace has it all.

I have been here before and took my wife here in April this year. The drive into the Palace is great through the narrow village streets and about four gates, occassionally catching glimpses of the fort on top of the ridge. I have only eaten in the restaurant and toured the Palace. The restaurant is just brilliant with respect to... More

If you're looking for a unique hotel to stay as you travel India, the Samode Palace should be on your list. We travelled from Agra to Jaipur which is quite some way by road and the Samode Palace is nearly an hour the other side of Jaipur, so we were glad to see the hotel eventually. We all agreed after... I stayed one night with my family at the Samode Palace last week. Though the property is beautiful and well maintained, the service was very lax. Even though we were graciously upgraded to the suite- there was no drinking water in the rooms, no kettle or provisions for in room beverages like tea and coffee. The bathroom supplies were also... You are bound to say 'wow' when you enter this palace hotel. I have been to several heritage hotels. This is one of the few hotels that stand out. Maintained well, the details in interior decor make the difference. Love the design and use of spaces especially the main courtyard which has a very European feel. Luxury quotient is superb.... Words simply cannot describe how beautiful, elegant and wonderful this Palace is and its people are. It is a living museum and is still owned by the Maharajah and amazing stories exist in almost every room and space. One hour out of Jaipur set in a serene environment. Rajasthan is worth visiting and can be worked I conjunction with a... More

During my trip to Samode, and my stay at Samode Palace, I experienced heritage to the fullest and had an awesome experience here. It is lovely palace in the small town of Samode Rajasthan and is tucked in the lap of the beautiful Aravali ranges. Loved the food a lot. The rooftop infinity pool has a superb location with the... This really is where you experience living in a palace!! The setting and the staff are fabulous. Sandi and Naresh looked after us like royalty in the restaurant and we had a fantastic trip up to the fort above the palace with Naresh. The room (suite) was amazing and the food was exquisite. You must try the Laal Maas. The... More
