One of the most relaxing places that i have been to..... Me and wife spent 2 days being here in the nature's lap and exploring the place and relishing some real Rajasthani food. Placed away from city you get all the time to relax and connect. If you are planning a visit with a group of friends please do so... More

Maharani Bagh Orchard Retreat was a perfect place to break our journey from Jodhpur to Udaipur. It was lovely to spend some time relaxing in a hammock under its enormous old mango trees. The cabins were well appointed and very comfortable and dinner was delicious. The resort was very quiet when we stayed, which was a plus for us. I... More

We visited for dinner. Loved the huge property oozing old world charm which is so well maintained. Built by the Maharani of Jodhpur in the late 19th century it appears to be a well run property comprising 16 cottages in an orchard setting. Entering we passed a huge board providing a guide to the numerous birds which can be seen... More

This retreat is kind of in the middle of nowhere in particular. The retreat however is clean and has nice rooms. Staff are friendly although we felt that we were the only people staying there. It is nice but not spectacular. The other option is to stay closer to Kumbhalgarh Fort as there is nothing to do in Ranakpur except... More

We had such a lovely experience when we halted at Maharani Bagh for lunch while visiting Ranakpur. Right from the person greeting us at the parking lot and escorting us to the dining area across the beautiful wooded gardens, to the staff serving us lunch. It was an experience to remember, even though lunch was all that we had stopped... More

I've stayed here before and it just keeps getting better! Well-equipped and very comfortable bungalows full of rustic charm. A spacious bedroom, incorporating a sitting area with refrigerator, and a verandah with chairs and a view of the garden. No wi-fi, just lots of fresh air. Good buffet-style meals in a covered dining area within the gardens. Outstanding service from... More
