I spent 3 weeks in Rajasthan in April and stayed at some pretty incredible properties -- Raas, The Serai, Mihir Garh, Devi Garh, Lake Palace, etc -- but King's Abode was not one of them. In fact, it was the only disappointment of the trip. I stayed in Ranakpur due to its proximity to Nana Bera, where I enjoyed a... More

You do get the regal treatment here. From the spacious entrance and courtyard looking straight through to the swimming pool you get the feeling of peace and tranquility. Very clean (marble floors are polished to a sparkle), spacious room with very comfortable bed, a very nice restaurant with excellent menu (both buffet and a la carte). The Jain Temples are... More

Great food. Very nice staff. Spot arrangements as per our needs are made. The private pool rooms are really cool. Swimming pool is very well maintained. Spa is very good. No other hotel nearby is having such facilities.

I booked this hotel so we could take in the Kumbhalgarth Fort and Jain Temple at leisure. We arrived from Devi Garh so Kings Abode had alot to compete with and it competed quite well. Just the trip there along the winding mountain road was wonderful in itself and then to walk into the lovely foyer of the hotel and... More

It’s truly an oasis in the desert and as the name suggest it makes you feel like a king with their service. Went to visit the grand Kumbhalgarh Fort with family and decided to stay at this property at an hours drive from there. Although the property is more than a couple of years old but feels like brand new,... More

Such a relaxing place! One of the best we stayed in during our three weeks in Rajasthan. Comfortable rooms, good service, good food. The hotel is designed around a central courtyard with a pool, surrounded by plants - a very cool place to sit on a hot day. Our room opened on to a terrace shared with three other rooms... More

We will shortly add beach volleyball to our list of activities. You can take jeep and horse safari tours or take a walk through small villages nearby the hotel. Activities like bird watching, photography or a cycling tour can be arranged on request. The place (Ranakpur) is known for a famous marble Jain temple which was under the top 77 wonders of the world.
