We decided to go to Ranakpur - Muchala Mahavir trip at last minute during Diwali time - which is considered as high traffic season. After calling "supposedly no. 1&2" hotel of Ranakpur, I was told by them I may get a room here and it can be considered as No. 3 property. When I called them, with my luck -... More

The place is in a beautiful location a short distance away from the magnificent Jain Temples. We opted for a room with it's own little splash pool which was great. The location is great when overnighting from Udaipur or visiting the Jain Temples or Kumbhalgar Fort!

Kings abode is real king luxury spot on the way of udaipur at small town. Surrounded by green which gives you fresh view of the area through room view. Suits are big enough and clean staff are friendly. Recommended for a night before blowing to lake city.

If you plan to stay back for one day in Ranakpur after visiting the temple, then this hotel is a comfortable place. It is basically a good option to spend few bucks atleast for one day stay but more than that it doesn't make much sense. Although they have tried to give maximum facilities to allure tourists and to give... More

Its clear a lot of money was invested to build this luxury hotel. the material is really nice and when new, it must have been great. But for $90 4-star hotel, i expected them to maintain the hotel in a nice condition. and expected more in general. What's missing from this 4-star hotel? * NO wifi -- really, in 2014... More

Kind adobe was build a few years ago and it took almost 5 years to complete. The reason being that the hotel was build in the old style of building in Rajastan. The publics areas are all specious and pleasant. The decorations are all done with great taste and sense of ethnicity. The rooms are comfortable and specious, with a... More

We celebrated new year eve here.. the stay was peaceful ..good property...spacious rooms..nice pool...but average in case of food served in restaurant, very less options in buffet menu (though they are charging handsome amount of money). Rest had a very nice new year celebration here.

This hotel is a bit of an enigma. Let me start by saying that the hotel is run by decent people, trying hard to run a good property in an honorable fashion. Its location is outstanding, nestling in the hills and mountains around Ranakpur. The design and layout is spacious and classy, and the staff try hard to make the... More

I stayed here in the 2 nd week of January and it was a great experience.... With everything right in place like the rooms, service to some extent the food...this place scores well ! The moment you enter and leave the reception, you are greeted by a beautiful lake with rooms on both sides. With grey walls to the hotel,... More

Nestled in the majestic wilderness of Rajasthan is King's Abode. It is the perfect get-away for friends and family longing to experience the serenity of long walks-ways, lush greens and lazy evenings. Visiting this home-away-from-home will reveal an old look fortress, sitting aloft a hillock surrounded by nature. King's Abode is just close enough to the city of Udaipur to be easily accessible and yet far enough to offer a perfect wilderness weather. In the calmness and coolness of this resort you will find modern amenities, courteous service and a feeling of being welcome. It is arguably one of the best resorts in Ranakpur today, offering scrumptious cuisine, spectacular views, comfortable rooms. The resort is not only suitable for a short vacation but also for conferences, meetings and formal engagements. Various indoor and outdoor activities can keep the guests busy or guests can just relax in vast spaces of the hotel. We have recently increased some activities like pool table, table tennis, badminton, cricket and football as the result of numerous suggestions from our regular guests. We will shortly add beach volleyball to our list of activities. You can take jeep and horse safari tours or take a walk through small villages nearby the hotel. Activities like bird watching, photography or a cycling tour can be arranged on request. The place (Ranakpur) is known for a famous marble Jain temple which was under the top 77 wonders of the world. The temple is fully made of marble and has 1444 carved marble pillars, in short it's a marble paradise. Ranakpur has now become a destination to enjoy and relax with the rich flora and fauna of the area. So take a break and visit this magical place where the nature is waiting for you at King's Abode. ... more   less
