The restoration of the Haveli is fantastic, the whole place is beautiful and reflects the passion of the owners. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food portions were a little too large for us and perhaps could be reduced in portion and price.

Our bedroom was beautifully decorated with simple but stylish Indian materials. We started our evening in the small bar where we were serenaded by two musicians. We then... More

Photography did not come to me naturally since childhood but I developed the love for it over a couple of years, thanks to Facebook ;). Every month by cutting down on my expenses I managed to secure decent 30K to buy my most prized possession-my Canon SLR. Feeling on top of the world, I was next looking for a destination... More

Vivaana is a gorgeous old haveli, with beautiful frescoes, in the middle of nowhere. With its spacious grounds and swimming pool, it was a great place to stay during Holi. Our room was large and well appointed, situated on a small courtyard behind the entrance. The celebrations were, of course, noisy, but on the second night it was beautifully peaceful.... More

We spent 3 nights here and there is much about this hotel which is very attractive unless you happen to be there when there is a jagran taking place all night on loudspeaker in the village temple,in which case you will get no sleep whatsoever. The temple has apparently been given permission to hold a jagran once a week, and it was...
