This beautifull haveli has very nice, clean and big rooms. We had the orange and the blue room on the groundfloor. The food, the service and the location were also excellent. I think this is the better choice in Mandawa.

This haveli was by far the best accommodation that we had on a 3 week trip in Rajasthan. It is beautifully restored and tastefully appointed, very clean and comfortable, and only a few minutes walk to all the main sites. Emails were responded to promptly and efficiently. We had dinner and breakfast there and the food was fresh and delicious... More

This was a fabulous find. The drive from Jaipur to Mandawa is roughly four hours. On reaching Mandawa, it took us a while to reach the haveli, with some assistance by the co-owner, Mr.Amit Chobdar who guided our vehicle to his quaint and beautiful home. We decided to visit shekhawati region as we had heard a lot about the art... More

Delightfull place in Mandawa, Chobdar Haveli is a must. Visited in Aug'14 by road from New Delhi. Took us some time to locate the Haveli as its in interior of the same town of Mandawa. The haveli is 120yrs old and has only 5 rooms for guests as informed by the owner. Its clean and beautiful. The rooms have old charm feel with big beds and Rajasthani bed covers... More

Great Hospitality – Good location, lovely rooms and meals :) Mandawa itself is a very nice town and the hotel has a perfect location where you can see the sunrise & sunset on the rooftop. And they also has a very nice garden where if you would like to sit and relax while having a pot of chai.... I stayed... More

The Best thing about this haveli is that the owner has not tried to impose his own ideas of haveli painting and frescoes on what is a charming little place. Evenigs were cool, comfortable and cosy. The food is simply superb. Service is fast and Lalji, the cook who sometimes doubles as waiter, is very attentive. The owner, Mr Sharma... More

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, I was somewhat surprised when I entered this haveli, which from the outside and courtyard looks quite simple. Once I stepped into a few rooms, I saw why everyone likes it so much. The rooms are really very tastefully decorated, very clean, very comfortable, and have large, clean, attractive baths. I cannot speak... More

I stayed at the Chobdar haveli for 5 days in January and was very pleased with my choice. I was very keen to stay here because the owner is just about the most knowledgeable person there is on the local paintings but was very pleased to find it was one of the best renovations of a haveli I have stayed...
