A beautiful Haveli with a romantic atmosphere. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located in a quiet area, so I would recommend a stay of 1-2 nights maximum (just the time to visit 1-2 Havelis and the Museum). They also have a restaurant and the food is fine, just perhaps... If you wish to get first hand experience of what it is like to be a royal and if you are curious what is rural india like, Grand Haveli is the place to go. Nestled in a quiet rural setting, happily distant for tourist ridden spots, Grand Haveli offers best of both the worlds. The murals of yore are well... More

We stayed in this haveli just 1 night. When you arrive you are really impressed for the beauty of this place cause everything is very well immaculate: paintings, the floor, the roof, balcony, windows... Room was clean, very big with a private entrance and decorated in an old but posh style. The only weak spot is that there are no... More

We stayed only one night at Grand Haveli but what an experience. The hotel is wonderful, full of art, lovely furniture & carpets. It is a genuine heritage property with wonderful pool surrounded by lush greenery. Room and the rest of hotel(Haveli) was very well kept, clean and always fresh. Paintings on wall and roof are so well preserved which can make you... More

1) Hotel was extremely deep inside the city & was very difficult for new person to reach. Hotel was in so much congested area that no ventilation was available in rooms. 2) Swimming pool was outside the hotel 3) We were the only guests in hotel so after 10:30 pm hotel staff locked hotel & went some where without informing... Upon arriving at the hotel, the lobby is enchanting, the whole hotel is a feast for the eyes, however the rooms are average and the restaurant not so good, a little bit dissapointing also regarding hotel staff that could be friendlier.

It is a lovely haveli and the rooms are very nice. It has a beautiful interior courtyard that is very relaxing after a long day. Continental breakfast comes with the room but the staff is a little weird about you asking for anything extra, like more hot water for your tea. I was told it was not possible (rather sternly).... The haveli is beautiful and very interesting to visit however the staff seemed to follow us around everywhere and ask too many personal questions and as we seemed to be the only guests there, this was just too much. We were surrounded by 3 staff members who were watching us eat. Back in our room after dinner, we didn't feel... More

My mother and I shared the amazing presidential suite last week. It was freezing, and there was no hot water. We could not get heating or extra blankets, this is despite the cost being higher than our five star hotel in Agra. Give this a miss and go on the much cheaper and better Hotel Mandawa Heveli in the next... More
