This large, modern hotel feels a little out of place in Nagaland. It's comfortable, however, if characterless. I had a huge, bare room but it had a heater and a kettle (and a tv that didn't always work). There's a computer in the lobby for the use of guests (no wi-fi, not surprisingly). The restaurant serves decent food.

Since there are only 2 hotels in town you probably end up in Metsupen Hotel. Semi-Standard and Standard Room are very basic and well...dirty. Internet/Wifi is not working since 2 months and probably will never again. The Staff is friendly, the restaurant is quite ok. Beware of other loud local customers and hard beds.

We had been told that accommodation in Mokokchung would be basic and barely functional. So we were pleasantly surprised by Metsuben. We had a VIP Room which had a sit out and a very large bedroom. The bed was massive as well. The room looked old and a bit frayed, but was decent. There was a room heater, a functional... More

The hotel was much larger than we expected. It also seems to be a favourite with government functionaries who seemed to have seminar and meetings almost every day here. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Though as in every other place in the north-east, be prepared to arrange for dinner early on itself as... More

We booked ahead to stay here and all went fine with our booking. Staff were super helpful and friendly at check-in and the boys who were always on call were superb from start to finish. The food is OK, though nothing special and takes quite some time to arrive. The hotel functions (as does the town) with electricity being provided... More
