I was here on 6th and 7th March 2014. I was informed that it is the oldest hotel in Dimapur. Being oldest I expected it to be a grand British style property. But when I landed in the room I was proved wrong. Its an old shabby property. Bathrooms are pathetic with scanty flow of water and the AC had... More

Dimapur, the commercial hub and the gate way to the Golden Triangle- plain land of the patkai ranges of eastern Himalayas, the point of convergence of all the hill communities for all their commercial needs, may disappoint you if you expect a big township. IT is a humble township of the people who are yet to find resources to come... More

I frequently go to this city due to business needs. The hotel is safe and OK types. Do not expect very high quality of services .Try and avoid travelling in the city after 56 pm.Staffs in the hotel are polite and cordial in nature.Since it is a govt. hotel it badly needs renovation, specially the toilets, doors. and television sets. Avoid... More

This hotel was rated very highly in dimapur which says more about dimapur than the hotel. The service was very apathetic (except restaraunt staff who were great). There was blood on the wall in our room. After spraying mortein to kill the hundreds of mosquitoes, we were suddenly surrounded by an enormous amount of cockroach corpses. There was plenty of... I wanted to stay in this hotel but cancelled it as the rooms are not up to the mark . The price of the room is too high in comparison to the ambiance of the room and its maintenance. After seeing the room and looking at the price, I did not book the place and came out of there .... More

I stayed for two nights in June 2012. This was not the first time I had stayed there (September 2010) but this time was much worse. The bedding looked good, was fine, but the general cleanliness and state of the room and bathrooms, and facilties is poor. I was intending to stay five nights but left after two and found... More

The Saramati Hotel is apparently one of the best in Dimapur. It has certainly seen better days. Paint is peeling, there are stains on the mosaic floor. However, the beds are clean and so is the bathroom. The AC makes a huge rattling sound, the TV didn't work....The intercom didn't work either, so there was no way of contacting Room... More

On our first visit to Dimapur en-route to Kohima, we were booked in this hotel. The Foyer is really huge!! All the rooms are on the 1st to 5th floors. And each flight of steps is quite a climb. To top it all they have no Lift!! This hotel is run by the Tourism Department of Nagaland. It is presently... More

Approachable from air/road or rails. Well located near tourist spots. Good rooms, serves different varieties of non veg meals and dishes, especially aquatic. Equipped with AC which is was not required, TV and other needed items available. Bathroom little bit untidy and the cleanliess is a little problem.
