I have selected this proiperty after visitng atleast 10 properties in this town as i was with my subordinates and can afford an expensive hotel. To my surprise room tarriff in all the hotels are very much overrated and the room conditions are not too good. Finally we got some rooms here and after bargaining we selected AC Deluxe room... More

I had the thali at the restaurant here and it was yummy. There was good variety in the sabji's served, the puran poli was lip-smacking and the dal and curry was good too. The place was clean and the staff was courteous. The only negative point of the food here is that it is very heavy - a sure shot... More

We were a part of a group staying for 1 night. The hotel was very near to the ST stand in a lane opposite it. The room was reasonably neat & clean, in the adjacent wing of the hotel. However, getting the hot water started was a bit of a task. There seems to be a switch that had to... More

This must be my fourth stay at the Radhika Palace at Satara. It is conveniently located in a back road but close to the main bus stand. Our room was very clean, check in was efficient and room service was almost instant! Breakfast was very good and their standard thali dinner turned out to be really tasty. I am not... More

Do not be misguided about the 'palace' tag; the place is anything but royal. Visited it last September, Standard of rooms are the same - some good, some bad. Our room 413 was clean; the toilet/bathroom functionally clean. Didn't find the service staff unwilling to work but they can do with some training. The quality of food has deteriorated -... More

We booked the hotel via Trip Advisor (effectively makemytrip.com). We paid Rs. 1700 per night for a room. In fact, thought it was a steal, because I've seen excellent rooms for Rs. 1200 at places like Pune, Kolhapur, etc. The hotel was a disappointment from the word go. The rooms are dirty and haven't been cleaned in ages. The musty... More

I was on family trip to Satara in August' 12 for a visit to the Kas & other renowned places around. I must say this hotel is located in the central part of the city, hence you can find all the basic amenities in and around this property. If you are planning for a visit to Kas/Thoseghar/Sajjangad this is one... More

Paid Rs. 1500 for single AC room. Hotel is inside town and felt safe. Not noisy at night. Clean room, everything functioning including hot water at 6am and diesel generator turned on within 5 mins of power outage Restaurant food decent with attentive waiters I was expecting awful service since I found Pune restaurant waiters to be rude, but here... CITY: I'd been to Satara in the last weekend of November 2011 (26-27-Nov) for nature photography with a photography enthusiast buddy. The hotel is at Radhika Road, a bit before you enter the main Satara city, however, being unaware, we went inside the city and came back. It was very much on our way and we simply didn't notice it... I went to Satara for a state sporting event my daughter was participating in and needed a place to stay overnight. We got a reservation at the Radhika Palace which was conveniently located close to the venue. The hotel, rather motel can be termed basic at best. There are no parking facilities and my car logo was stolen at night.... More
