Stayed one night in a twin room for a visit to the observatory. Terry the host was lovely and friendly, giving us advice and offering an opportunity to stargaze in comfort from the garden deck. A few minutes from the observatory, this was a great location. Had a very nice and well cooked breakfast, and came away with plans to... More

Me & my fiancé stayed here for 2 nights to get away from the stresses of everyday life. Upon arriving Terry & Jill were very friendly & took us to our room. We stayed in a very large room for 2 people, it had a king size bed & also a single bed, the en suite bathroom was very clean.... More

Thank you so much for your comments and kind words - we are very pleased you had a great time with us and in the Kielder area - despite a little rain at times. This is a great place to stay, as the heading says, home from home, you really do not feel like you are staying in a B&B, Terry is a brilliant host, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area especially the Observatory which was the purpose of our visit. The room was lovely and clean, good qualify bed linen, comfy... More

Stayed here one night between Christmas and new year...fantastic stay, The bedroom was spacious with a huge, comfortable bed and great complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities. Bathroom was spotlessly clean and also spacious and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Terry, the host even made me some special gluten free muesli and had gluten free bread available. A lovely,... More

This is a lovely place to stay. We stayed here to visit the Observatory and to have some time in the Forest. The host is friendly and knowledgeable, and the room was good. We slept very well in the comfortable beds and the bathroom was very clean. Everything was done to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable even when the... More

Thank you so much for your kind words P. We are pleased that you both enjoyed your visit to ourselves and to Kielder. Yes - it was quite good fun with the mains power off - but I am glad S. took the opportunity to get some great shots of the northern night sky from the front of the house... More

Stayed a night at Twenty Seven recently as part of a mini-tour of England and Scotland. We were to spend an evening at the Observatory and found this B&B to be perfectly located for coming back to afterward. Couldn't fault the room at all: well decorated with a really comfy bed and outstanding bathroom, all spotlessly clean. Terry was a... More

Twenty seven B&B is a really lovely, cosy, homey place to stay, with everything we needed from a B&B for our trip to Kielder. Upon arrival we met Terry, who was extremely friendly, hospitable, and very helpful with suggesting places to go and things to do in the surrounding area. He made sure that we were dog-people before allowing his... More

We stayed in Twenty Seven for one night as we passed through Kielder on a UK road trip. The B&B is warm and cosy and Terry (the owner) was an absolute star. The breakfast was one of the best we'd had all trip and was cooked to perfection with home made options for vegetarians and plenty of choice. Kielder itself... More
