Like many others, we booked an evening at the Observatory and chose 27 as the closest place to stay. Yes, a little "quirky" regarding decoration and furnishings but clean, warm, a comfortable bed and very good breakfast. A bonus point for an area with very poor mobile reception was good wifi and cellular "booster". The local pub serves dinner in... More

Booked on Friday 9th October to stay on Saturday 10th October as we thought the skies would be clear and have always wanted to experience the dark skies. Whilst we didn't get to see anything our stay with twenty seven was excellent. Jerry was helpful and the room was small but clean and the bed very comfy. We also had... More

Looking for somewhere close to the observatory to stay, I came across this little gem via trip advisor. We stayed for two nights and received such a lovely welcome from Paula and Luis who I assume were hosting for Terry - the owner. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly wish for. There was a... More

This has to be one of the best B&B's we have experienced. The young staff from Spain spoke excellent English and could not do enough to make us feel welcome. The premises were spotless and refreshments were available throughout our stay. Although the owner is recovering from a heart attack, he popped in to greet us and offered wonderful information... We confirmed arrangements with emails which made the place sound wonderful but sadly reality was different. We arrived at 5.30 for our 3 night stay and discovered that no one was there to greet us except 2 other guests who kindly let us in. W used the landline in the conservatory to contact the owners but could only leave a... More

Me and my sister stayed the the family room. The room was clean and well appointed. I never met the owners but the two lovely women looking after the B&B were excellent and always went out of there way. No internet for a few days but that was after a storm and didn't bother us even though I like to... More

Twenty-seven B&B has got to be one of the nicest B&B's we have stayed at, and with the nicest hosts! Although we never met the actual owners, we did correspond with them frequently, and the "house-sitter" who met us went out of her way to welcome us, make sure we had everything we needed, and even arranged a very early...
