Not the first visit and hopefully not the last. As usual a high standard of accomodation, log cabin 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms all you could possibly want in the kitchen, from dishwasher (not me for a change) to microwave, toaster etc. But you really cant get better than whats on your door step, beautiful views, quiet walks along side the... We stayed 3 nights over Easter April 2012. I am writing this the evening we returned home, first time contributor compelled by the excellence of the accommodation. We stayed in a tynedale classic that slept 6 and we had plenty of room. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was superb, they have not gone for the cheapest option when... More

We stayed at Kielder from the 17- 20th March 2012 and had a fantastic time. My Husband has been having health problems and we were told by the Doctor he needed to relax and that's exactly what he did. We stayed in a Redesdale Comfort Lodge which turned out to be larger than we first thought. It was very comfortable,... More

The cabins were fantastic, we had an otterstone executive and it was fab. The area around was fantastic and the kids prefered it to centre parcs. The Boat house pub was quite expensive but we really enjoyed it and are looking to go back again and would love to do New Year here. The children loved going everywhere on bikes... More

We've just stayed over New Year and had a great time. The lodges were spotless, ours looked out over the beautiful Kielder Water. As it was Christmas, each lodge had a Christmas wreath on the door, a lovely tree and even a hamper. The staff at Leaplish were exceptionally friendly. The pool is terrific. We'll be coming back in the... More

I stayed here with my daughter who was just 11 weeks old at the time and it was just perfect for relaxing and spending time together as a family. The lodge that we had looked out onto the water and had more than enough room for the 3 of us. A very enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed an easter break at Leaplish Water Park in the heart of the Kielder Water and Forest Park. Staff on site were great and really helpful. We stayed in the Executive Hareshaw lodge and it was clean, cosy and spacious. The weather was super for our stay and this allowed us to explore the forest and the surrounding area.... More

We booked a 4 night midweek break in a Kielder Lodge. The lodges are situtated in Leaplish Waterside Park, about 50 miles from Newcastle on Tyne. Kielder is certainly not the most beautiful place in Northumberland - there are so many - and Kielder has several factors against it - the lake and the forest are manmade and look it,... More
