Guests are mostly Armenian families with children, also some foreign tourists. The public areas, our room and the bathroom were very clean. The rooms are very large. We especially enjoyed the lunch buffet and the breakfast. Very good Armenian cuisine. The staff was helpfull to fulfill special wishes like getting a coffee before breakfast time. Only the water in the... More

This hotel is a huge ex-communist building tarted up for the 21st century. The bedrooms are the biggest I've ever stayed in, with a ginormous bed, views of the forest from the balcony and a rather compact bathroom. The view from the corridor outside is across to the rather rundown town, not a pretty sight. The restaurant is characterless with surly staff, but... More

This is a revamped soviet era hotel where, characteristically, the public areas get views and the rooms get none. Rooms are large and reasonably furnished. I believe there is a nice pool. Food is poor and service worse. The hotel seems to rely on weekenders from Yerevan. If you are a foreign tourist I suggest you look elsewhere.

As someone has written, it depends what you are looking for. Rooms are nice, big, with balconies. What is very important, they are clean. That's on the first place for me. The staff is friendly, helping. Not all you ask they might be able to do, but they try. Generally very nice people and the atmosphere is also nice. The... More

If you ever wondered how the party Boss's lived it up in the Soviet era then look no further that the Hotel Dilijan Resort. This sprawling complex was getting a makeover in May 2012 when I visited but the building would look more comfortable in a city scape than it does perched in a forest. The rooms are spatious and... I stayed at this hotel on 9 Sep 2012 as part of a Group of 38 people from Italy booked by Armenia Holidays. I booked a single room for which I paid the corresponding supplement. Everybody in the group had nice suite-style rooms, very spacious, with good, if old, furniture and a large balcony with a lovely view of the... More

Stayed one night as part of a tour in Armenia. Big, previous sovjet style hotel. Rooms are really big, with a separate bedroom, sitting room and bath room. Old fashioned furniture but clean. Elevators stop halfway of the floors. Restaurant dining room is huge but cheerless and our group of 12 people were the only guests, diner was buffet style.... More

It is a very comfortable and big hotel with big rooms, great views from the balconies, different kind of facilities, good service, nice stuff and kitchen. It is a right place for those, who want to enjoy Dilijan's nature .
