I have stayed only one night in this fairy tale hotel but it was enough to make me wanna come back again. You can choose standard or duplex rooms. Or even the real old Armenian house in Dilijan style with beautiful furniture and terrace and view. Rooms are big enough well equipped, very clean and cosy. Amazing atmosphere of small... More

This hotel was magical, it was very well maintained. The building gives the feeling of going back in time. At the several handcraft workshops you can wach incredible artifacts beeing made. This was definitely one of the best places i visited and plan to go there again with my family.

We arrived in town with no reservations, but they gave us a choice of two beautiful historic rooms. The location is perfect for walking around town. The staff were extra helpful, and arranged a hiking trip with a very knowledgeable guide for the next day at a reasonable price. We loved the period feel to the room with the Tufenkian... More

The concept behind this hotel is noteworthy. The hotel has a variety of rooms, some of them are sitting right on the street, so that when you open the door, you are actually in the street, while others turn the inner complex. The room I was accommodated in was facing the inner complex, and was spacious and authentic, though a... More

Hotel constructed in old fashion, with furniture and old carpets. Even though everything is made in old way still you feel lux. Restaurant serves non ordinary meal (national mixed with other), bit expensive for locals. Tours are available. I liked smell of bedding. Wifi connection was good.

Honestly speaking I have a mixed feeling. Knowing tufekian fame I was expecting almost luxury in old antic building. And what I got was OLD. What was nice. All really old staff and creepy as old. But it is not what I aimed for. Was hoping that in these great all Walls would be relatively modern interior. Especially bathrooms could... More

A magic view, beautifully restored old house, friendly and helpful people, good food, walking distance to the natural reserve... Nothing more to wish for in a region of Armenia that you shouldn't miss!! We passed 2 nights and enjoyed every second!

Diliyan is not directly what I would like to call a tourist destination, but when travelling in Armenia, the Tufenkian Diliyan Complex is a great place for a good night sleep. The hotel consists of several antiqye houses along Diliyan's main road. But strangely enough, there is no street noice in the rooms. These rooms are furnished with beautiful Armenian... More

A great hotel to stay for one or two nights while exploring northern Armenia. We had a great pleasure to stay in room no. 2 which i believe is one of the nicest rooms in the resort, with a huge balcony overlooking Dilijan and the mountains. The interior furniture belonged to the last centuries , and it was a great... More
