Loved the village and the hotel is situated almost at the peak. We stayed in the window room which was beautiful. I recommend getting a tour of all the rooms so you can appreciate the effort that the owner has gone through. Has free internet but the speed was spotty. Its nearly 700 steps (that's steps not paces) up the mountain to the lodge. , and about another 350 or so up to the higher viewpoints over the rice terraces.
