We stayed just one night on our way from Calais to the Vendee and found the usual "campanile" type accommodation which was of a usual standard although rather "tired". Situated in Saint -Arnoult which is a small delightful village with easy reach of the centre of Deauville, the hotel is well situated. Our disappointment was the fact that the former... More

Stayed at this Campanile for the 4th time. Very good location, friendly helpful staff. Room clean and well equipped. Restaurant has ben refurbished and looks very smart. Food is simple but fresh and good quality and freshly cooked. An excellent base for seeing this part of Normandy

Unlike most Campaniles this one is located in a charming area in Deauville. We had a family room with a double and two singles. The only down side was the final price which, after dinner and breakfast is certainly not what you expect of what is after all a "budget hotel" having said that we had a comfortable overnight stop... The room was clean but quite outdated. Nice quite area away from the centre of Deauville. Plenty of parking and easy to check in and out. It just has no character and looks quite old and used from the outside.

This is the third year we have returned for the start of our tours in France. Saint Arnoult is a quiet, clean almost toy-town type of village. At the same time it is well situated for driving south or in any other direction and yet near enough to the seasides of Deauville, Trouville and delightful Honfleur. Most Campanile hotels conform... Having stayed in other Campanile Hotels and found them pretty good I found this one one disappointing. With the room not particularly clean, some less than friendly staff and a breakfast which whilst OK required us to twice ask for the buffet bar to be replenished left us feeling the whole experience was less than positive.

We planned to stay at this hotel for two nights but cancelled the second night due to the service and condition of room on arrival. In fact we spent the first quarter of an hour after arrival searching for another nearby hotel with an available room for 3 people but sadly to no avail... If successful we would have left.... More

Having stayed at this particular budget hotel before on numerous occasions, our expectations were realistic. A basic room, that was clean, was all we wanted. It was not what we got. We arrived in the evening, just in time to catch reception before it closed. The triple room we had booked was barely a double room with a z bed... More

Campanile Hotels have a format of similar room chalets (reminiscent of a holiday camp) with doors opening onto a communal exterior concrete corridor or path with a concrete spiral staircase for the upstairs chalets. Reception and food is in a separate block. The site at St. Arnoult is a relatively new area and the main square with its surrounding cafes... More

For our trip to France we spent one night in this hotel on our way to our final destination. We stayed with four people (two adults and two children) in one room which wasn't possible before. Four beds still fit, but good to know that the room was crammed with beds. Note that the hotel is not near the center... More
