We have just returned from a weekend trip to The True Heart. Veronica is the perfect host and she made us and our dog feel very welcome. The room was great and everywhere was clean and spotless. Veronica uses organic and local produce wherever possible and it all tasted fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B and hope to... More

I stayed at this delightful B & B whilst en route to Glasgow to visit family in July 2012. The True Heart was wonderful because of the warm welcome, well-appointed room, and an impeccably served delicious breakfast which even included a Times of London to read! I would return there in a heartbeat! Thank you Veronica for a lovely stay!

I really should have written this review immediately after my stay but life got in the way. I stayed on my own in September while on a solo cycling trip. From the first contact by email to enquire about availability and whether there was somewhere secure for my bike (there was) to a phone conversation and then meeting, Veronica was... More

We spent three nights at The True Heart and warmly recommend it for comfort, great breakfasts and the friendly welcome and hospitality provided by Veronica Metcalfe. And all this in a delightful area, a bit off the beaten track, quiet and pastoral. Altogether wonderful.

Frampton on Severn is a truly beautiful village within easy access of Gloucester, and this is a great place to stay. Veronica will make you very welcome and is most helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. There is a local pub within walking distance which serves above-average pub food and has great atmosphere. You will not be... More

I've just spent three nights at the True Heart and it was perfect. The owner, Veronica, achieves the right balance of welcoming and unintrusive, while accommodating every need and schedule. I was staying in the area while my son was attending a rowing camp on the canal and it was bliss to retire to my comfortable room each night with... More

Stayed for 2 nights, lovely room, lovely en suit bathroom, lovely and welcoming host, idyllic and down to earth village full of charm. The breakfast was locally and ethically sourced which was fantastic and tasted wonderfully fresh. Highly highly recommend The True Heart, would stay again as it was by far our favourite b&b experience to date.

We stayed for 1 night in early February, arriving after dark. The room was a little small but immaculate, with every amenity provided. The house was full of character, Veronica the owner very helpful and chatty and breakfact excellent (largely locally-sourced produce). All-in-all, a quality B&B that we will most definitely use again.
