Lovely cottage style accommodation. We had a Ground floor with a balcony - view of the snow-clad mountains up-ahead with the fast flowing river below. Restaurant served simple & hot meals. Prefer the rooms away from the Road, they had new wing being added, while we were there.

Good Food, Good Staff....Good Rooms yet small.. but comfortable....& good meal... restaurant need to be cleaned.....as most of time its kept as it is after use.....

hotel snowland at sonmarg in J&K India is located on the main highway. Rooms are comfortable with electric blankets provided. Central heating is not available but in summers it is comfortable. Staff is responsive. Food is not upto mark. Food preparations are average with limited choice.

Hotel Snowland claims to have central heating. Ha! They have registers in the rooms but they've never them hooked up. There is no heat. The hotel is very basic. did not have an electric blanket!! and it was soooo cold in the room. The food is not soo good however you dont have a lot of options since there are a few hotels there. its better to come for a day and go back to srinagar.
