nice place to stay and very friendly/helpful staff , and although just stayed for one night I would recommend this as a stopover , the room was more than adequate for what we needed and what was good was that it had an internal entrance to the pub next door

We have stopped in this hotel before and since our last visit it looks like the hotel has had some work done to it. We stopped in a family room as we had our 19 month old daughter. The room was clean and plenty big enough for us all and the staff were friendly. The only faults were found were... More

Stayed to visit family, very nice hotel, very clean and people here lovely. Went to restaurant attached and that was very good too, doesn't serve hot breakfast but does offer a small alternative. Very happy x

Have been going here for over two years now. It has had a facelift recently, but despite this, the price does not reflect what can be found locally. There is no bath. Restricted and basic toiletries, refreshments, facilities etc. WiFi is chargeable. Only a pre packed breakfast available. Restaurant next door - The Church Mouse - inconsistent in quality. Dogs... Clean room, nice and warm basic but modern and super comfortable bed. You know what your going to get in these type of places. Would agree that the signage could be better. Very nice Vintage Inn pub/restaurant next door. Staff very friendly. Excellent value for money.

The rooms were larger than usual, and the newly refurbished beds and showers were lovely. Very clean and nicely laid out. Less good was the fresh paint smell (my sinuses didn't react well) but at least that will fade. The Travelodge signage at the road was tiny, so look out for the restaurant name instead which was well lit and... More

The room was absolutely filthy, urine on the toilet seat, no soap in the dispenser and an off putting visible build up of filth on the soap dispenser and around the room. The towels were covered in fake tan. We left without even showering.
