I agree with the previous reviewers - the Orchard Palace is a lovely retreat from the heat and dust of India, in lovely surroundings. The rooms are massive, with bedrooms and dressing rooms to match. Hotel is the dependance of the palace of Maharaja, inserted in a beautiful garden, with few huge rooms well appointed and maintained, good cleaning. Poor the shower with lukewarm water. Dinner and breakfast very good, served in a superb dining room, with excelent service, and delicate food. No connection internet

There are 2 sister hotels in Gondal, the Orchard Palace and the Riverside - both palaces which have been converted to hotels. Beautiful, clean, polite and friendly staff and great food. At first we were very hesitant about spending this amount of money at a hotel in Gondal (since Gondal has not that much to offer), but after all, it was a good decision to stay here.
