This park is very clean and tidy. The staff are helpful and can organise visits to local attractions at no extra charge. Travel to the city of Cairns is as easy as a half kilometre walk to the bus stop, there are five bus routes that pass so you don't have to wait long. Much easier than driving and trying... More

Stayed here on a powered site for a few nights, great rates and i found this place to be a great stay, the amenities were clean, pool was clear and clean. we were made feel very welcome and we received some very good advice from the managers. Spacious van sites although could be a tad tricky to get into if... More

We have stayed at a few parks in Cairns in our travells but this park we consider the best for our needs. From the friendly reception when I rang to book to the greeting at reception, clean facilities, suprisingly quiet, good sites, short walk to shopping. More suitable for senior travellers as it is close to the city and if... More

We recently stayed at First City and found the park to be just what we needed. It was clean and tidy with large grassy sites and big shade trees, just what you need in Cairns! We dealt with Mark on check in and found him to be great, he went out of his way to give us information and local... More

I too cannot understand previous negative comments. Green pool? Ummmm no - a crystal clear pool with a lovely big green shade cloth to keep the kids out of the sun! Our cabin was clean as was the linen. Yes there was only a grill but they make it VERY clear on the website what they have in the cabins!... More

Good location with good clean facilities. Showers and toilets good, nice communal cooking area with big screen TV, microwave, washing facilities, seating etc. Friendly staff and easy location for travellers passing through. Only complaint was with the noisy indigenous people who frequent the canal/drain area at the side of the park at night. Police need to sort them out.

A bit surprised by the comments already expressed. I can't judge the cabins because I did not occupy one, but the power sites are fine. The showers and toilet facilities are excellent and clean. The Staff I dealt with were friendly. Sure it could do with a bit of a lift especially the power boxes need replacing. But friendly Staff,... More

Dont bother staying. Cabins are unsafe. Smoke alarms dont work. Tag n testing 7 years outdated. You get attacked by stupid plovers. Staff are very rude. They pick on you if you are young. Washing machines put dust and fluff and dirt through your washing. Dryers dont dry your clothes. State of this place was horrible. Would recomend not to... More
