Better than any hotel service. You are located in central Hungary and all major tourist attractions are within one-day car distance: Boedapest, Eger, Tokai Wine Region, Debrecen, Hortobagy National Park and of course the Tisza lake itself. it is a very beautiful place to stay, nice hosts, great breakfast, supplied info about the area, places to go to. They recommended Czifra Csárda (in Abadszalok) a traditional Hungarian restaurant. Best food ever!! Do not miss those 2 places.

When you don't know exactly what is in the area and don't speak the language it's good to have someone to advise you. “A hidden gem in the countryside”

A comfortable modern guesthouse in a village location with great hosts who will do all they can to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Very close to Tisza Lake and ideal for families, birdwatchers and fishermen. Recommended very highly.

Our first time in this area proofed a topper. Altough the main interest was the migration of the Cranes in Hortobagy NP (about 50 km away), the Tisza Lodge was a delightfull base to start the exploration of this region.
