Each new visitor gets e personal welcome by de owners who give a nice tour around the establishment and offer a welcome drink on the house while they walk you through the sights and seasonal events during your stay if you are interested. The region is not overwhelmed by tourists, yet has plenty to offer for those who do spend... More

The lodge is in a sleepy Hungarian town, beautifully renovated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Anita and Patrick are extremely attentive hosts who welcomed us with a glass of wine on arrival and thereafter did everything to assist us with our visit, reserving restaurants etc.. The lodge is about half an hour from the Hotobagy National Park which is well... More

Me and my girlfriend spent something less than a week at Tisza lodge and were very satisfied. As a sign in front of the lodge suggests- " You are entering a stress free zone" once you set foot there. Indeed, you are, well put. The owners of the place (Patrick and Anita- a Belgian couple) were outstanding hosts. Even though... More

We spent a short break at Lake Tisza and staying with Anita and Patrick in Tisza Lodge was just the right choice. The village is a bit offsite, so is the property on the edge so there is nothing distracting you while staring at the starry sky on a warm summer evening. Anita and Patrick turned this original Hungarian farm... More

What a wonderful oasis at Tisza Lake. A fine lodge with exceptional hospitality. Anita and Patrick are living their dream of B & B ownership and take pride in making every effort to assure your comfort and to make their inn your home. We were overwhelmed by their kindness and attention to detail, even remembering that the day we arrived... More

Set in a beautiful region of Tisza lake, Tisza lodge receives its guests with a warm welcome. During the stay they gave us every day information on trips which can be made in the region, walk around or boattrip on the lake, visiting the thermal baths nearby, the Unesco recognized PUSZTA or the beautiful cities of Eger and Debrecen. In... More

We spent wonderful days at Tisza Lodge with Anita and Patrick, the owners of this wonderful place. Anita and Patrick do everthing to make you feel at home, even good cooking, if you do not want to go out for dinner. The landscape around this little village is something for nature lovers. The house shows a good taste, rooms are... More

A very clean, modern and well organized lodge. The hosts (Patrick and Anita) will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. During our 7 days holliday we felt like being at home and at ease . Patrick and Anita provided us with good information about what to do (boattrip, spa, cityvisit, bicycle, ...) and were we could... Better than any hotel service. You are located in central Hungary and all major tourist attractions are within one-day car distance: Boedapest, Eger, Tokai Wine Region, Debrecen, Hortobagy National Park and of course the Tisza lake itself. Free parking. Free Wifi. Great breakfast. Large garden with possibility to swim in small pool, trampoline & badmington for the kids. The friendly... More

it is a very beautiful place to stay, nice hosts, great breakfast, supplied info about the area, places to go to. They recommended Czifra Csárda (in Abadszalok) a traditional Hungarian restaurant. Best food ever!! Do not miss those 2 places.
