We stayed there for 6 night in the Garden Villa (which include a small but private swimming pool), very nice architecture and rooms are very large, clean and in very good state. Resort is big enough to have your own space even in high season. Restaurant is very good quality and reasonable price comparing other French Polynesia islands. Breakfast has... More

Hotel Kia Ora was the last stop in our tour around French Polynesia. We spend 4 nights in a villa with pool. I have no words to describe it. We also booked half board and it was a great deal! 100% recommendable We did le Lagon Bleu tour with them and I can say that it was one of the... More

Negatives: - wifi very weak - bungalows with outside jacuzzi but way too noisy - basic / poor breakfast Positives: - super kind service - very good food at the hotel's only restaurant. Although the service is slow when served a la carte. But this happens in the whole Polynesia where you have to relax ! - great diving and... More

We had a beautiful private bungalow on the beach with a private jacuzzi on the beach side porch. It was a bit of a walk for an older couple with some arthritic pain though (375 steps to the dining room, bar and only ice machine). The snorkeling off the beach is lovely although it doesn't look like much when you... More

this is the most heavenly location in the world in the Tuamotu Archipelago in French Polynesia. Turquoise crystal clear seas (like Bora Bora) only when you don a snorkel and fins, the coral is undamaged and unbleached and teams with the most spectacular sea life. Even walking in to the sea off the beach is a treat but you can... More

If there is paradise on earth, this place is Kia Ora Resort! Rangiroa is one of the most beautiful island I visited in the French Polynesia. Our bangalow was right on the beach, with a nice jacuzzi in the varanda. The room extremely comfortable, but the air conditioner was not enough due to the high and cealing in straws. Room service... We still talk about our stay here two years later and the only bad thing about this place is that pretty much no where else measures up. Yes, it's really really expensive, but when you factor in the remote location, the level of luxury, and the non-quantifiable aspects of being ridiculously well taken care of in the most gorgeous location... We went to Rangoria largely to dive. It's a small atoll in French Polynesia, about the smallest place we've ever visited. So we were delighted to find that the Kia Ora is a really nice hotel! The facility is comfortable and pretty well maintained. The staff is quite friendly. The food was reasonable quality and reasonably priced. And best of... More

We stayed six nights in an OWB at Kia Ora. What bliss! Very well situated and appointed room facing the lagoon with reef for fine snorkeling right out our door. We loved the low key vibe, from the moment we were picked up at the airport and welcomed with juice and towels at the reception area. The staff wasted no... More

This is the second summer we have stayed at the Kia Ora. It is the best resort on Rangiroa. The resort grounds are absolutely beautiful and the over the water bungalows are neat, clean and well maintained. The restaurant and bar are also neat, clean and well maintain and the décor in the restaurant is quite nice. The staff is... More
