We stayed 3 nights at Pension Martine. Nice view from the balcony of the bungalow onto the lagoon. Good for sunset. Beach is of stones, but like others already pointed out: there is not much beach on Rangiroa so it's a great spot. The family were all very friendly and the food was absolutely good! We had sashimi, grilled tuna,... More

Just like Martine, everything here is alittle bit tired, except for the view. Great view of the beach, onto the lagoon. The dining area needs reviving! Saying that, the food was some of the best 'poisson cru' - traditional "raw" fish, dishes that we have eaten on the islands, a part from when we were staying with friends on Bora.... More

FIRST: it is the only pension in Rangiroa with direct access to a beatiful small beach;otherwise Rangiroa does not basically have beaches easy to reach, it is mainly for diving. So except the Kia Ora Hotel (much more expensive and impersonal), if beside diving, you also like the relax of a small beach and easy snorkeling you better choose this... More
