This an excellent value. Nice; spacious; impeccable; excellent (but a little slow) service; very good breakfast with both Mexican and US type food. If you want a lot of luxury and can/want to pay it go somewhere else. Close to a shopping mall and nice restaurants. The wifi -like in most Mexican hotels- could be improved. The best value for... I have come to expect good service and quality amenities from big hotel chains and the Camino Real chain is no exception. This time, however, it fell short. The room was pretty nice, well furnished and quite modern. The bedding in general was good quality albeit a bit old (the velcro on the duvet was not sticking properly) and I... More

Mold in the shower, a sink that barely drained, a hair dryer that only worked on low and only if it was facing straight up and a toilet seat that wobbled. Makes you wonder if anyone is paying attention. The breakfast looks nice (and the fruit was) but I had a flag someone down anytime I wanted coffee. I will... More

This hotel is very modern and well designed with an incredible location but for some reason they have decided that is enough to get people to come. They have forgotten what it takes to get people to become customers. I can't understand why they don't offer valet parking to hotel guests. Even if it isn't free, it's a service that... More

I stayed at the Camino Real for 4 nights and arrived there in the evening. The staff who checked me in was neither friendly nor unfriendly. That applied actually to most of the staff, beside the waiters in the breakfast restaurant. The room was very spacious and the interior ok. Bathroom was also quite big, however not state of the... Located in San Pedro, an upscale part of Monterey, it is very centric in regards to its location. The place is very spacious and clean. Very luxurious. Probably top 3 in comparison to the Safi and Quinta Real at a much more affordable price. If you're in Monterrey and are looking for a chic place to stay without breaking the... More

A first trip to Monterrey for business, the last stay at Camino Real. The hotel is beautiful, the food and restaurant service is mediocre but their housekeeping, while clean, is less than par with an American Budget Rodeway motel. The bathroom light would not stay on, the shower spontaneously turned on through the night, the coffee maker was sometimes cleaned... More

Granted the room price was our corporate rate so very reasonable. The room was better than I thought it would be. The room lighting was interesting. Small lights everywhere, the room was only well lit during the day. The bed was rather firm and I was not impressed with the pillows. Overall, the hotel is trying to be high end... More

I was in floor 31 with a beautiful view of the mountains. The room was spacious, and had some upscale features. It included a nice TV, three phones, including one in the toilet area, tub and shower separated, built in drawers, and room safe. Expect to pay for in room coffee or water bottles. The wifi is also a paid... More

I was not impressed by this hotel. It has a premium price but the things were not there. Paid for internet which had only 2 bars. Complained but they gave only excuses instead of fixing the problem or changing the room. Called tech support 2 times and they told the hotel could have fixed by restarting the antenna. This hotel...
