I don’t do many reviews, and in fact I only really do a review when things are not as I expect from a hotel. Today’s review is of the Quinta Real Monterrey. Usually a great chain of hotels, but today I am extremely disappointed. From booking, it was half price to book on Expedia vs the hotel itself where my... More

So all in all - this was a very nice hotel. The service/ staff was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. The rooms were very nice (not my taste in decor, but that is me) and well stocked. Ample towels, decent TV, iphone 5 radio/ charger (which is nice to see updated electronics), and very spacious. I found the bed very... More

This is a very cool old hotel. Unlike so many hotels, this one has lots of character (in a good way). The public spaces are beautiful, especially the central courtyard. The decor is a bit over the top for my taste, but the place evokes a strong feeling of a glorious and interesting past. Unfortunately, "past" is the key word.... More

A good, safe choice but they are not as good as they think they are! The bar was closed on both occasions that we tried to enter during the weekend between 1pm and 8pm. The restaurant service was good for the first two occasions that we dined but was terrible on the third occasion (when we were entertaining valued friends!).... More

This hotel has it all. Great location, beautiful property, unique rooms, great restaurants and a great workout facility. It's my private oasis in Monterrey. Make it yours, you wool not be disappointed. With its great amenities and location across the street from great shopping it's not to be missed

What a magnificent building! Cool spaces, colonial architecture, lovely art. Room great, well appointed, icy AC (you want this) lovely bathroom, terrific TV but I'm still waiting for that Room Service menu the porter promised to bring straightaway. WiFi expensive. On the plus side a waiter scrambled to help with a suitcase I was trying to wrestle up a staircase.... More

Spent a wonderful 5 days in this exceptional hotel! From the glass of wine and fruit upon checking in at reception to the superb food in restaurant, this hotel does not disappoint at any level. The hotel personnel were exceptional in their service to guests. My luggage did not arrive with me and a car was dispatched to airport to... More

Beautiful establishment conveniently located next to a mall and all the great resturants. The decor is very reminiscent of the old colonial days of Mexico. Hall ways and rooms are decorated by nice artwork by famous artists. I very much enjoyed my stay, and wish I could have stayed longer

My husband who travels frequently to Monterrey for business has always stayed in this hotel. Two days ago he checked into his room, stayed the night and left for meetings early morning. Around 11 PM he arrived exhausted back to his room but the key would not fit in the door. He went down to the front desk and the... More

Beautiful top of the line infrastructure, excellent service, dining and perfect location. Book online and save hundreds, rather than booking directly with the hotel. Try the Rib eye tacos and the Shrimp with black bean tacos at the bar. Every room is beautiful, every bathroom is huge! I have been staying there for over 15 years, non stop on every... More
