We Stayed here for a long weekend 2 adults and a child. The room was newly renovated with a King size bed, good quality linen and a comfy rollaway. The Bathroom was very clean. The room also included a small kitchen area, ie: 2 hotplates, microwave, sink and utensils. There was also a lounge and a work desk with comfy... more

We hadnt planned on staying at the Barossa but decided at the last minute to stay. Dropped into the resort and ended up staying 2 nights. Newly refurbished it was great value and we thought our room was very comfortable. The staff were also helpful and recommended some local restaurants for dinner as we did not want to dine in... more

After their refurbishment last year, the rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. Great views of Jacobs Creek from the rooms. Highly recommend getting a slightly bigger Deleux room. Bathroom is modern and fresh, although a little room could be afforded around the basin area. Staff at reception extremely professional and friendly. You get 20 min free internet during your stay... more

I am pleased to learn that you were happy with the standard of our newly refurbished rooms. We completed a $2.3 million refurbishment in November 2008 and it is very rewarding to discover that our guests like the contemporary design. Thank you for your feedback. Kind regards James Murphy General Manager

We loved our one night stay in this hotel and really wished we could have stayed for longer. Our room was beautifully furnished and really comfortable, with a stunning view from the balcony. We didn't really have time to try the pool but it looked great. The staff at reception couldn't have been nicer and got housekeeping to prioritise our... more

Our stay at the Barossa was enjoyable, the accommodation was clean, king size bed and great views over Jacobs Creek. We went with several other families, one family had problems with the Novotel stating that only two nights were booked rather than three. Staff at reception were friendly enough. Restaurant however was a bit different. We were a table of... more

I stayed for one night on 9/4/09. The surrounding is so peacful. The room is spacious and the king bed is so comfortable. My kids have a fantastic time at the pool despite the water was a bit cold but they got used to it. I only booked for one night but would love to come back next time however... more

My wife and I recently stayed here for the second time... The first time we stayed was about 2years ago and vowed never to put ourselves through it again, unfortunately we weakened and found it was no better second time round. The first time the cleaners repeatedly used a knife to break into our room ie. jemmied the security latch... more

Having stayed in adelaide the three nights before our stay at the Novotel, i now wish we had stayed here for longer than the one night we booked in. We were very disapointed with Adelaide hotel quality and were overjoyed upon driving upto the Novotel. It is in a great location right next to Jacobs Creek visitor centre. The restaurant... more

This was our third visit, and this year we built our Australian holiday round a 12-night stay at the hotel. So this shows how much we like it. But, sadly they have refurbished the rooms, and they are not as visitor-friendly as they were. Firstly, they have removed the two cooking rings which were so useful when we wanted scrambled... more

We stayed for a weekend in a 2br unit. Our room had been partially refurbished. The bathroom was in need of updating and/or a thorough clean. The water pressure was pathetic. The kitchens could also be improved with a larger fridge/freezer or no minibar occupying the entire space. Our entry key card failed to work 3 times and each time... more
