The chateau is beautiful with a view of the Marne river, and many Champagne vineyards nearby. There is a very pretty garden behind the chateau leading to the river. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He served us a delicious and plentiful dinner, followed by a continental breakfast the next morning. All high quality produce. The rooms are charming,... More

We stayed twice recently, with our dog. The house is on the River Marne - great for a walk, and has its own large garden. The house itself was full of antiques and interesting. We had the Jasmine room with the hammam ( great after driving from London, and the return from south of France). The room was large and comfortable.... More

We had a nice time staying here and found the owners to be very kind. We stayed in the large room up top (family room) which was very comfortable, albeit it was hot that night, with a great shower. They allowed us to have the dog (large gentle lab) who was able to go for a swim in the river... More

We stayed at the Chateau with friends whilst visiting the Champagne region. We booked the Suite Roseraie which was great for 2 x couples with 2 double rooms and shower rooms (shared WC) and a small lounge area. Jean Pierre and Bruno were very welcoming and we felt right at home at their lovely Chateau. Breakfast was included and the... More

My work colleague recommended this place to us and it was really lovely. We stayed there for three days in August 2013. A bit of confusion at the start, we had arranged to be collected at the train station by Bruno (who speaks English) but when we arrived Bruno was out and John Pierre (who speaks less English) answered the... We spent three nights here at the end of May whilst touring the Champagne region. Jean Pierre was an excellent host, attentive but not obtrusive. The Chateau is set in beautiful gardens which lead down to the Marne alongside which there is a lovely river walk. Dinner was a really enjoyable experience, pre dinner aperitif of local champagne and home... More

The bathroom in our room smelled of drains, which made the whole room unpleasant unless the door was closed and the window open, it was not warm. There was no room cleaning on the Sunday. The only good part was breakfast, which had delicious jam.

Clearly an address designed for foreigners, as the furniture and design of the rooms would really appear in poor taste to anyone French... The rooms are lofty and comfortable, but the clichéed-themed art is too quaint to be true! Please, dear visitors of France, don't believe that we all have portraits of marquises above our beds, or that we're crazy... More

What a great place, more like living in a palace than a B&B. We arrived in the evening to a blazing open fireplace and were offered the local tipple, which was of course Champagne. Our room overlooked the Marne river which has irresistible walk-ways just waiting to be discovered, after the opulent breakfast served in one of the old stately... More

My family stayed for a week at the chateau and found it to be a wonderful, charming place. We chose this B&B because of its location next to the river Marne, which afforded one a lovely walk beside the river. We delighted in seeing many interesting birds. Bruno and Jean-Pierre were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome. We had... More
