Clearly an address designed for foreigners, as the furniture and design of the rooms would really appear in poor taste to anyone French... The rooms are lofty and comfortable, but the clichéed-themed art is too quaint to be true! Please, dear visitors of France, don't believe that we all have portraits of marquises above our beds, or that we're crazy... More

What a great place, more like living in a palace than a B&B. We arrived in the evening to a blazing open fireplace and were offered the local tipple, which was of course Champagne. Our room overlooked the Marne river which has irresistible walk-ways just waiting to be discovered, after the opulent breakfast served in one of the old stately... More

My family stayed for a week at the chateau and found it to be a wonderful, charming place. We chose this B&B because of its location next to the river Marne, which afforded one a lovely walk beside the river. We delighted in seeing many interesting birds. Bruno and Jean-Pierre were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome. We had... More

We have been to the Champagne region before & stayed in some great accommodation much closer to the main Champagne route. However we chose this place based on the high ratings on the site. It looked like a sure thing to me. We booked a 3 night stay. Firstly the location is still a decent 35-40 min drive to Epernay... More

An amazing place! Its location along the banks of the Marne is superb. Inside it's the sort of place which would make an ideal set for a "Dracula" movie: long dark corridors and a spooky dining room. For those enjoy champagne you're in heaven! The one caveat were the lack of doors between the bedrooms and the bathrooms. It might... More

This Chateau is a must! We stayed here on our honeymoon after a hectic time in Paris. It was the most relaxing and enjoyable experience we had in France. We arrived to a huge well appointed room - complimentary Champagne for our honeymoon from Bruno and Jean-Pierre. We sat by the river and in the lovers chair among the beautiful... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights en route from SW France to Denmark. Our room on the ground floor was stunning and the bathroom had its own private hamman. We decided to have dinner here both nights, you must pre-book though, and it was superb. There is no choice of food but each course was delicious and served... More

Thanks Jean-Pierre and Bruno for a fantastic stay. The chateau is magical - beautiful location, gardens and rooms. The food was excellent and the service second to none - we have never been so well looked after. We will definately be back!
