Lovely property. Great food. Bad desserts. Tired rooms. Just a little sprucing up will make it really worth it. Badminton court floor could be repaired. Table tennis top was full of dust. Geysers in rooms were scary looking with open wires and broken parts. With such lovely food do keep desserts at par. Custard is so passé.

One could overlook the final 20k of very rough track on the approach to The Fort Unchagaon if the destination was worth the discomfort. The reality is that the hotel is tired and worn out. The rooms were very old and dirty, the equipment ancient and the bedding damp. It has great potential as it is a lovely building, with... More

Don't stay here - its not worth the time getting to it from the main road! Dark, damp rooms away from the main building; smoky rooms in that building with hit-and-miss electrics and hot water provision. It could be lovely. It has fabulous grounds and is close to the Ganges, but needs a lot of money spending on it to... More

Arrived after a horrendous 20k, one hour drive up a bad farm track. The garden was gorgeous, but then it was downhill. A self important elderly man sat behind a desk checked us in, but our passports disappeared down the road with four pieces of paper to be photocopied heaven knows where. They showed us to our rooms in a... More

I visited this unique Fort turned hotel as part of my best friend's 25th Wedding anniversary celebrations , the hotel went out of their way to make this a memorable stay . The arrangements, decorations and food for the evening were superb. The service levels good.

This place is most of what you need for a weekend getaway. Firs the good points, the drive to this place is 2:30 to 3:00 Hrs (from any part of Delhi), total 115 kms from Anand Vihar of which 95 Kms is on very decent roads (80 on NH24, 15 on arterial), rest 20 are on more of an approach... More

I visited Fort Unchagaon with my family recently. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease with which we reached the place, it took us just 2.5 hours from Delhi. The last 20 kms is a country road that runs along a canal, very picturesque with mustard fields, mango groves and nurseries along the road. The haveli inside the fort is... More

An extremely quaint and wonderful holiday getaway just 3 hrs away from Delhi. Very neat and clean rooms. Warm and hospitable staff. Personal care taken by owners to ensure guests comfort. Home cooked food, and above all the beautiful old heritage ambience and experience is delight after the Delhi noise, pollution, and traffic. Would highly recommend this great destination.
