An amazing place! The Sand Dunes and the Huts around it are simply marvelous! The experience of staying overnight in the huts, surrounded by nothing, is simply awesome. Early morning walks in the dunes are amazingly refreshing. The views all around from the top of the dunes and very very serene. The early morning slanting rays of the rising sun... More

The sand dunes surrounding this pretty resort are breath taking. It was serene and peaceful. We were fortunate to visit this part of the desert in the best season. Staff are very courteous. Service was excellent. Food - I personally thought if we could have been presented with more choices of the local cusine it would have been great. But... More

It was really a wonderful discovery after a long car journey. You arrive at the Khimsar Fort from where the hotel jeep takes you to the Sand Dunes accommodation. Once there the camel cart takes you to your small well decorated and maintained rooms. Some with traditional mirror work on walls and some with open to sky bathrooms. Lovely sit-outs... More

We absolutely loved our stay at the sand dunes village. Such a unique surrounding, beautiful small houses very well decorated and really clean and amazing staff. The food was good as well and it was so great to have breakfast by the small lake in the morning. It was not cheap but definitely worth it and would love to stay... More

Wow! The Sand Dunes Village has the most surreal setting amidst a man made lake filled with ducks, Sand dunes all around and the most quaint village themed cottages. The neatness and cleanliness of this place needs to be applauded! Superb job done. We had the pleasure of staying in this setting for a night. We used the camel carts... More

We were on tour in India and coming to these sand dunes is very special. It is in the middle of nowhere and we were brought to the place by 4WD jeeps. Our luggage was brought on a cart drawn by a camel. Very exotic… when we arrived, a Bollywood movie was filmed and the actors were very famous in... More

We wanted a desert stay on our trip, and this was a convenient one-night stop between Pushkar and Jaisalmer. We had the place to ourselves! We know they often have tour groups through here so we were glad we weren't there with one of those. We arrived mid-afternoon and it took a while to realise we had the place to... More
