To review this resort you need to understand the surroundings you are entering. This is not a resort on the outskirts of the National Park, it is a two hour jeep drive to the center of the Park. Consider it a step above camping. A resort surrounded by a fence and having only the services that are generated there. Thus... More

Firstly I would say that despite the negative things in this review we would stay there again because the location is just fantastic. The main negative is that it is not too clean (we stayed in quite a few places in India some cheaper, some more expensive than here so have an idea of what the standards are like in... More

Situated 30 odd km inside the forest. Therefore even transfer to and fro is an amazing safari in itself. Further the adjacent dam reservoir makes it d most picturesque location in corbett. Highly economical. The surrounding forest safari routes boast of a mix of grassland , water body and dense forest making it d best place in corbett for animal... More

Foreigners are charged significantly more than locals but the facilities are really primitive. No heating, empty bare rooms with creaking beds and hairy matresses. The food is simple but good and sensibly priced and yes it is worth starting at 06:30 to try and locate a Tiger ( <5% chance though) but the price is totally out of line for... More

I have been to many reserves & I rate this one as the best. The Forest Rest house (FRH) is situated 30kms into the core area of the reserve. The ride to the FRH is in itself an open jeep safari. we had gone there primarily to spot birds & enjoy the feeling of living in the middle of the... More

Looking at the reviews it is hard to imagine we stayed at the same place as some of these folks. I wonder if the folks really stayed there or just stopped in while touring the park. For starters - our previous hotel sent us with their sheets – that was the 1st warning sign that things might not go well.... More

This was my 6 visit to Corbett National Park. No doubt this is best place to stay in entire Corbett. Entry to this rest House happens from Dhangari Gate, it takes about more than 2 hours to reach to this place. During this 2 hours you will pass thru thick Sal Forest & see quite a few wild animals like... More

Pretty bad hotel but the location can not be beat since it is deep into the park. Electricity is not always available, so neither is hot water. You get a small tank in your bathroom, expect to fill buckets and use a cup to shower and rinse. Hard beds. Breakfast only good meal. Forest is dense so only 3 kinds... More

If you like cold showers (sometimes no showers), no heat, damp, cold rooms, and mold covered walls then this is the place for you. The mold on the walls in the dining hall wasn't as bad as the mold on the walls in our room but still pretty disgusting. As if all of that wasn't bad enough, the elephants at... More
