La Perle River Resort is truly an awesome resort. Its on the bank of the river in the jungle and very near to corbett entry gates. Lush green with good food and service. Staff is friendly. The river view rooms are very good. Overall cost wise is also not too expensive.

I selected this resort on the basis of Tripadvisor rating and my decision was right. The property is spread in a nice area. Pleasant grounds, away from the main road, everything worked. Nice restaurant. You have to be near the reception office for decent wireless internet. We found a much cheaper Corbet jeep tour at the Park Office in Ramnagar.

We stayed in Feb 2013 and were the only guests. So received full attention from the staff. Food was par excellence (mainly vegetarians) and sumptuous breakfast. I went there last year with with my family in March. Great option to stay and we loved it. What we liked: - Room was nice with decent size. it can be a problem finding the resort but it is definitely going to be a big problem leaving the resort. you just can not leave this beautiful place so easily. i too extended my stay by a day. it is the perfect place where you can spoil yourself with excellent services and friendly staff. the staff was extremely supportive....
