Kabini with its abundance of animals and birds is a beautiful place, but the stay at the Bison was special with so much to look forward to in the short stay. The walk in the tribal village followed by the sundowner ( a cozy picnic on the banks of the river with the backdrop of the sunset), the ride on... More

Hey Tarun We are glad you enjoyed your stay at The Bison and look forward to having you and the family come back sooner rather than later. We are seasoned travellers. The Bison is something very different and welcome. The owner is a great host as are all of his staff (and sister). He is great tracker, photographer, organiser and host. Every day brought something different especially animals in their natural habitats. Would like to think one day we might return.

Have been to the place twice (this year and in 2014), loved the calmness of the place. You get tents to stay in, the doors are tent zips (cute) and its very very peaceful to be in here. Also loved the fact that electricity provided is solar powered (and also minimal, just the way it should be in a jungle).... More

The place, does evoke a real jungle like experience. It's raw and eerie at the same time. During our stay, the current manager Madhav, did make us feel at ease, there were quite a few things the owners can do the make this a little more safe and memorable for families. 1- they accept bookings from families with kids, but...
