The bison is a nice place, you will feel as if you're in midst of jungle. its right next to kabini backwaters and view is quite serene. Service and food is good, and staff is quite courteous. From activity purpose, you can do safari where animal sightings are purely your luck. other than that its nice to just laze around.... More

Visited the place in October with my wife. A perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located close to the National park and right on the banks of the river Kabini. The roads to the resort are good barring the last 750 meters. When you reach the resort you may feel - where am I stuck? but... More

I just hope my idea of a luxury tent in a wildlife sanctuary is seriously misplaced. The room was dirty, lizards and frogs croaking around not to mention we were wrongly advised not to come in a very busy weekend (maybe because of overbooking and thats why i did not get a Machan as confirmed by "Life is outside." I... More

When we decided to stay near Kabini for a weekend, we found we had several options. Honestly, I would have personally preferred JLR, but they were running full at the time, but that said, our decision to stay at the Bison did not disappoint us at all. The last time I was in Kabini, the roads around Karapura were not... More

The staff is very humble and efficient. Will be ever ready to help. The evening snacks, bon fire, boat ride was all fun. But... The price we paid for the stay was really not worth it. The tents & machan which they call luxury are no where close to luxury. No ac, only 1 pedestal fan of usha. There were... More

Dear guest Thank you for you valuable feedback. We would like to reply to this to help you and our guests understand your issue. We are an African styled tented camp. The only in the area and the only property to overlook the forest. Our accommodation and location makes our priority wildlife. We as avid wildlife lovers want the bison... More

We visited Kabini with a group of friends on the long weekend in October. The place is very close to the national park entrance, which is a plus. The tents are spacious and well appointed with great showers. The resort is all about the setting - literally touching the kabini river. I'm assuming this would be a birdwatcher's paradise in... It’s a place in natures lap with the Kabini river in the front and forest beyond it. One can hear the calls of different animals from the tent. On arrival you are greeted with a welcome drink. The resort is environment friendly and yet provides all amenities that make one comfortable. The tents are large and comfortable. They don’t have... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your valuable feedback! We are glad you enjoyed your stay at The Bison. With regard to a few points you mentioned: 1) Pricing: We work on a very strict carrying capacity which limits the numbers of guests at camp in order to personalize your stay and lessen the impact on the environment. Part of what... More

We were there in Bison on Mid June, this year. Our's was two nights and thee days package. Though reviews and Bison website say the best time ends by End May becuase of start of Mansoon after that, I would like to extend that period upto June end. In fact, I found it the right time as you could see... More
