Banyan Bay Villas is a lovely place to stay. It's very quiet, with villas of bamboo and wood, situated on a little bay. Katima, thank you for a great stay! Nin, thank you for the lovely food you prepared for us. The 'Paradise fish' deserves a place on the menu!

I came here with my wife for my 40th birthday for a few days and had a wonderful relaxing time. The owner Kitima kindly arranged a boat pick up from Bantiang Bay in Ko Lanta where we staying which was a very pleasant way to start my birthday. Check in was a little disorganised if I'm honest. We were met... More

What a very special place this is, if you want to unwind completely on a secluded private beach, away from it then this is your place, it's rugged and rustic and very personal and I will always remember banyan bay, a big big thankyou to Nai (I hope that's the right spelling) for cooking us some amazing food and for... Banyan Bay Villas is one of those places that stay with you long after you have left. It has soul and charm, is surrounded by beauty and offers tranquility and warmth. This of course comes from the people who own and run it. Kitima is a wonderful host and her vision for her little resort is not based on maximising... More

We had a great bungalow that was open to the elements of nature. The view from our bed was of the beach, water, and trees. The owner of the villas is very devoted to the guests having an excellent stay and is a pleasure to spend time with. This island is off the beaten trail and we highly recommend it,... More

I agree with all the positives that's already been said. I won't repeat them again but instead mention what we thought needs improvement. -The rooms have no fridge. -No bottles of water. -The bed is rock hard, not comfortable at all, didn't look forward to going to sleep. I know beds are usually harder in asia, but this is way... More

Spend there five nights as a couple at one of the two Villas that are located about 15m from the edge of the resort's sandy beach. The rooms are claen, large with huge top to bottom windows that has mosquito nets on each of them, so we could sleep at night with all windows wide open (without the need of... More

A little paradise on the island of Koh Jum... We took the Koh Lanta ferry from Krabi, and stopped at Koh Pu (first stop!), then a long tail boat took us to this hidden paradise in the north of the island. It is well hidden, and I hope it will stay this way for many more years. its seclusion is... More

My partner and I stayed here in Feb 2013. It is on a secluded bay on the island. You're away (really) from the beaten track. There's a beach that belongs to the Villas, and you can walk to another beach (I think it took about 20 minutes or so once we knew the short route). I enjoyed the seclusion hugely,... More

What a gorgeous little place! Not exactly luxury and there were definitely things I would improve on that would make the £70 a night better in terms of value but if you go there with the right mindset it's just great! A bit of a mission to get to but worth it if you want to escape the crowds and... More
