I really loved how calm and relaxing the place was - nothing but the jungle and the ocean. I was a little disappointed by the bungalows, though. I wasn't expecting much, it is nice to stay in a really basic place so close to the nature - but at least the mosquito net should be replaced once in a while... More

We only went there to eat (Dinner and breakfast) while we stayed at the horrible sun smile beach bungalows. The food was delicious and the staff super nice. We got to use their WiFi and the meals there were tasty! Eating at Jungle Hill was such a relief after our experience at sun smile and we loved it! Thanks a... More

We have just spent 1 month at Jungle Hill. What an awesome family. They are extremely helpful and the nicest people. They made us feel like family. Tang is amazing and will try and sort out anything you could possibly need. The Island is very quiet, if you are looking for entertainment, shopping and 5 start luxury, this is not... More

We stayed three nights in Jungle Hill in a sea view Bungalow for 1500 THB the night. It was totally fine for our expections because it was a cozy bed and a hot shower in the bathroom...and the view was great, overall when lying in the hammock listening to the waves!!!! We had two visits from cockroaches what wasn't very... More

Exceptionally cheap and wonderful experience from this small family run business. Located on the largely untouched and remote island of ko Jum. The beaches are extremely clean and the locals are both warm and welcoming. A short 1000 baht ferry journey from krabi to ko Jum is the recommended route to the island. Where the ferry stops in sea and... More

We didn't enjoy it as much as many people seemed to. The room is very basic which is ok but as the wood in the walls and floor is not sealed you have all sorts of creepy crawlies climbing through the cracks. There is a mosquito net provided but ours had a lot of holes in it so we did... More

We came to Koh Jum, looking for seclusion. And that's what we found. Koh Jum just got electricty in 2008. Needless to say, life is basic and slow...and i mean that in the good way. The island itself is a bit tricky to get to. you must take a ferry from krabi and the ferry stops off shore in the... More

Ko Jum was an amazing escape and we felt we got to see the real Thailand in our 2 nights on the island. Do not come to Jungle Hill expecting 5 star luxury - the bungalows are very basic but you are there for the experience. We paid 1000 baht a night for a fan room which we felt was... More

Booked this place for 2 nights with my girlfriend and loved it so much that we stayed for longer. +ves: Ko Jum is a beautiful, quiet island that (unlike Phi Phi Don) is not at all touristy or spoiled. We couldn't believe that there weren't more people on the island. Lovely private beach Good, well-priced food available all day Kayak... More

The bungalows are great, clean, comfortable, quiet, and overall really good value for money. Great location as the mini mart was a short 2 minute walk away and the beach just down the stairs. As a couple backpacking we are obviously on a budget and we we're disappointed with the meals at the jungle hill restaurant. Prices didn't justify the... More
