After three weeks travelling Thailand and div. islands I had my share of experiences with both location and bungalows. I ended up staying the rest of my trip at Woodland Lodge because: - The food is amazing. The best I've had in Thailand, better than the Blue Elephant in BKK and you could eat anything without getting sick - The... More

We stayed for two nights at Woodland Lodge in a rustic but nice and clean bungalow. The bungalow had a good fan, double bed with mosquito net, and shower with only cold water. The bugs weren't really a problem and the weather was warm enough that a cold shower was fine. The bungalow had a really nice large porch. The... More

great place, lovely staff, nice bamboos, excellent food. We love it, and will be back for 7th and 8th stay as long as Sao, Ray, Ad and Lek are around!! Maybe a little expensive compared to other and similar resorts?? But the nice companions here make up for that! HARD beds ... wonderful garden!

The highlight of our 3 week trip to Thailand. After running away from Ko Phi Phi, Ko Jum seemed like a paradise! And Woodland Lodge definitely helped us to love the island even more. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the food is amazing, the beach pretty much empty. Very quiet and peaceful, perfect for a few extremely lazy... More

We have nothing but raving reviews and incredible memories of this place, by far the most difficult accomodation to leave on our entire 9-week honeymoon, we stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days. We were immediately greeted with warmth, smiles, and openness. The staff is of the best parts and is not too overbearing, i.e. not trying to get... More

We travelled to Koh Jum and Woodland Lodge and stayed there for a couple of days in January 2011. Woodland Lodge offers good value for your money with great food and excellent service. Beware of mosquitos in the night, the lodge have only bungalows with fan and there will be a lot of mosquitos in the bungalow in the night.... More

After a few days in Koh Lanta (think McDonalds, 7/11's, over developed beaches) Koh Jum was a blissful escape from the beaten track. I had read good things about Woodland Lodge, and even better about the critically acclaimed kitchen. The Sunday Times wrote: "best food on the island". My girlfriend and I arrived in Koh Jum on a long tail... More
