We were looking for a very low key, laid back, family friendly beach holiday in Southern Thailand. Koh Jum as an island is lovely and our experience at the Lodge was exceptional. Initially we were hoping to stay at the Villas down the beach but the price was out of our budget due to the peak season. Read the reviews... More

Returning after a seven year absence, we were delighted to see that Jean Michel and Thierry had retained the unique attributes that make this place so special and had added perceived luxuries/necessities of a safe deposit box and an overhead fan. The banda's/rooms are more than spacious, having sitting areas and hammocks for those not lying on the very comfortable... More

We only stayed one night here but thought the huts were beautiful. Clean and quite spacious with very nice beds and mosquito netting. My only wish is it wasn't quite so dark inside (need better lighting) as it was not easy to see and the wood is dark as well, which makes it hard to see little visitors like the... More

Nice place, but a lot of them on Koh Jum.This one has terrible and rude French owner. Nice beds and hammoks on the beach though, but you can use them still. Try something like Season Bungalows or Freedom Bungalows - beautiful spot.

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights at this lovely resort mid Jan 2014. The place is absolute heaven. So peaceful and quiet. The beach is unspoilt, around 4km long and absolutely stunning. The resort is stunning. Set amongst the Palm trees and garden the bungalows are pretty luxurious but maintain traditional a Thai designs. The pool is nice. Food... More

We stayed here for 10 days and loved every moment. The French staff is very nice and the seafood menu in the evening is so delicious that I am still dreaming about it. We had a beach hut for most of the time and then changed to a hut at the pool because the beach huts were booked. Both were... More

On arrival we received an upgrade, so we were delighted. I would definitely recommend spending the extra money for a sea view , I'm glad I didn't live to regret that decision. The room was excellent, the decor is beautiful, the bed is comfortable and the sea breeze passes through the room keeping it cool. During our stay the staff... More

I stayed at Koh Jum Lodge with my husband for three nights in November 2013. The airport transfer service was flawless (both coming and going). Our bungalow was large, clean, beautifully decorated and well ventilated. Though, we used the oscillating fan every night, it was never really hot in the room. The only thing missing was a hair dryer in... More

Spent 4 nights in a beachfront villa, and it was perfect. Nice breakfast included, and all food we had in the restaurant was great. Reasonably priced drinks in the minibar. A handful of other bars/restaurants within walking distance, and a 40 minute walk into koh jum village. Swimming at high tide is wonderful, exploring the rock pools at low tide... More

We stayed at this lodge for 5 nights. What an amazing place. We had our own spacious chalet complete with hammock and deck. The grounds are well kept and the staff are friendly and hard working. We loved sitting under the palapa on the beach. A wonderful complimentary breakfast was served daily in an open air restaurant or you can choose... More
