Rant - this is a remote part of China which is geeting to grips with tourism and not the US!/Europe! We had a very pleasant experience at the hotel, we were up on the 35th floor and while we had some problems (e.g. wifi) they were all sorted out very quickly and efficiently. true teher was not a lot of... This hotel is supposed to be five star. Really? It is a high rise and has a lot of rooms but the quality of those rooms is more like two star. The shower drain was stopped up and the water leaked into the room. Service non-existent. The lobby with the high ceilings was a zoo with all kinds of parties... More

The room is large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was extensive and good. There is no in-room directory for services. In fact, there is no English information at all in the room. The front desk staff speaks very little English, so communications can be difficult. This hotel is the nicest in Kashgar, but far from the action. It is... More

This is supposed to be a big and modern hotel in this old city of Kashi. True the outside of the hotel and the lobby look nice and grand; however, the stay inside the guest room is a different story. There is much to be desired in terms of attention to details in the room although I do not expect... More

The hotel is huge, but in a bad way. Th hardware is terrible, and service is non-existence. The toilet stink of stench from poor plumbing, there's no shower cubicle. the breakfast has poor selection, The swimming pool is overcrowded with locals and the water quality is poor. This so-called 5 star hotel is worse off than the 4-star Shenzhen Airlines... More

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, but it is probably a 4-star hotel in China. We knew we were going to be out traveling/sight-seeing all day and wanted a clean and nice place to return to at the end of the day, and I would say that it met that goal for the most part. The rooms are... More

It's your usual over the top Chnese hotel where everything is bigger and better, but after roughing it out on the KKH the week before this felt like heaven. Reception was mixed - the girl at Check-in was great, spoke English, the one at Check-out had a bad case of the 'tudes. There is an Uyghur bell boy working there... More

This hotel is pretty fancy and the rooms are very clean and spacious. Some downsides: The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. There are plenty of hotels in the city which are walking distance from interesting things to see. The service is mixed. The reception staff is on the ball; taking initiative and providing excellent services. Room service is... More

Good: Staff was very hospitable especially Ms Nuri and Mr Double Wang who went out of their way to make our trip comfortable and trouble free. Breakfast buffet was a stunner, huge, healthy and delicious. Hotel is brand new so everything is spanking new here - rooms very comfortable, toilets clean. Bad: Restaurant food for western cuisine could do with... More

This hotel is still under construction. When I booked, I assumed I would be checking in to a five star property with all the usual amenities such as a spa, swimming pool and health club - all listed on the website I used to book my room. However, none of the above were available as they have not yet opened... More
