This is the place to stay in Kashgar. It is situated right in the heart of the old town. The hostel is good value for money and the staff are helpful. We really liked the courtyard where we were able to meet other travelers. We booked a private room which was a decent size. The beds are a little hard... More

We enjoyed our 6-day stay here! Our double room was in the annexe, which was actually nice, as it was quiet, but you could still chill with your neighbors in the courtyard. The downside was that there are only two toilets/showers, which meant queues in the mornings. The staff are friendly, especially if you speak Mandarin (it's an all Han... More

If you're not into youth hostels at all, then this is certainly not the place for you... The hostel is located in the "old" part of Kashgar, which of course is not very old, but irrepairably upgraded by the Chinese. Classic youth hostel, with a mix of Chinese and western travellers. The owners speak some English, which is very helpful... More

We were a little disappointed when we fist arrived to find our private room with en suite was in the building next door rather than the characterful main building shown in most photos, but it actually turned out to be better as it was quieter. The room itself was OK but had a bit of an odd layout, the ensuite... More

We stayed here for two separate nights in private rooms. Pros are good location, cheap, easy to find and friendly staff. Cons are wifi connectivity and speed issues, showers and toilets are combined and there aren't many of them, and there can be long waits for food (due to Ramadan a number of guests ordered lunch from the hostel). Better... More

let me paint a picture for you, a dark grim and sinister one at that.... The main lobby seems ok. I am hot and tired from the 30 hour bus from hell all i want is a room. Check in, no understandable English spoken....dam, The staff direct me up a stair case that will most likely cause a terrible catastrohy... More

Enjoyed my few days here. Stayed in a comfortable private room with bathroom attached. They served very nice dinner with affordable price. A cozy courtyard to relax and meet fellow travellers. The staffs were helpful. Centrally located and easy access to public transportation.

The manager could speak English and was extremely helpful. The evening meal was healthy tasty and low price breakfast great. We had hot water showers in our double room in the new part The courtyard amazing place to sit eat and chat. my highlight was the pet sheep penned up in courtyard fondly fed and let out for a wander... This was one of our favourite hostels in china. Our double room was comfortable with good aircon. We stayed in the newer building a few doors down from the reception area. It was lovely, bright, clean and quiet. The shared space is great. A good place to meet other travellers and a great atmosphere to sit around, have a drink,... More

Absolutely loved my time at this hostel, really felt like home! I stayed in a private room, which was much better quality than expected! Practically brand new... Pros: - Location: heart of old town, walking distance to main sights, markets and old town alleys - The vibe: really relaxed, super-chilled, great for socialising and solo travellers - Staff: super friendly,...
