Not a word of English spoken here - none. Hotel is central for the town and has some decent restaurants close by - use them. It has the weirdest breakfast restaurant with electronic gates no less and a menu designed only for the Chinese even though the clientele was from all over the world. Internet never worked and the business... More

The hotel is located right in the center of town, easy for both business and sightseeing. The beds are typical Chinese - hard for Westerners. Lots of places to eat nearby and plenty of taxis. Most of the staff did not speak English. It's very quiet. Bottom line we'd stay there again.

We arrived here after 11 days of camping in China and no shower, so anything would have done :-) A quite big hotel and with alright rooms, madras is hard though.. I notice that others write about the bad breakfast, but we must have been in the middle of something, because it was huge, and with plenty of selections! But... More

it was my miss fortune to spend 4 nights in this grubby hotel awaiting to join a tour group. This has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. and believe you me I have done a lot of travelling. The rooms are dirty. Carpets a disgrace. Stains everywhere. Shower with hair... More

I stayed In This hotel for 2 nights, unfortunately. The bedroom couldn't be darker. The mattress was harder than a stone, impossible to sleep. The bathroom was completely grimy, with more than old towels. During the night there was a disturbing noise that seemed to come from the water pipes. The only good thing in this hotel was the restaurant... More

I usually review only places I really like, but this hotel is so poor I feel compelled to warn fellow travelers. The carpets are filthy, the air conditioning vents are black, there is no hot water in the sink (although there is in the shower). The beds are like rocks. The "American breakfast" is truly awful. Even the Chinese food... More

Location. Location. Location. (Plus A/C and hot shower!) If you are in the bewildering process of trying to find a reasonable hotel in this city, this is a good one to choose. It is very centrally located near the Mao statue on the plaza, next to the central park, and within close walking distance of the old town area. They... More

I've stayed here twice on business in the last couple of years and would say it's probably still the mot reliable mid-range option in Kashgar. When travelling anywhere in north-west China you have to adjust your expectations - most hotels will be a long way below the standards you might be able to expect in similar-sized cities along China's more... The rooms are hot and a/c totally inadequate. Opened windows to get air but one was stuck shut. Had to leave room door open for ventilation. BreakfAst was a joke. Mostly cold and unappealing Chinese food and MY husband eats anything All of the limited western foods;eggs, toast or pastries, cereal and even coffee were In short supply. We really... More

It is your typical Chinese chain hotel. Beds are rock hard, rooms are on the dirty side, but it seems to be the norm in remote areas in China. So there was no surprises there. As others have mentioned, rugs are filthy, furniture is kind of banged out, but the beds are clean and so is the bathroom. It seemed... More
